👋there are real.people who live in Aspen. I'm one of them!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
My daughters first job at 16 was at Paradise. She's 42 now. Her sister is 40. 😁 Have grandkids here now.
We're still locals. 😁
I honestly can’t believe this doesn’t have millions of views. Great photography, great host.
Ahh! Thanks so much! I appreciate that!
I actually agree
It’s pretty nice video though rhe area’s tourism is highly taxing on ecological concerns. (Quitting single use stuff like condiment packaging, etc would be smart to start). Enjoy the journey with consciousness.
We saw the Maroon Bells and hiked to Crater Lake last week during our week long anniversary trip. One of the most breathtaking landscapes we've ever seen!
Hi Justin I’m traveling next yr and I want to know how I can get the tickets to Maroon Bells, I appreciate your help! Thank you
Wonderful place. Maybe one day I will come there
Thanks for this, Jeanie. Gave me a good idea on things to do in Aspen. Going to live in Aspen for the summer to escape this hot, humid, Texas heat

America is very beautiful country, especially Colorado 😍
Yep. We as country need quit spending generally unwisely and respect more of what the world has to offer, the chance to enjoy and respect!
This is such a fantastic video. My Sister lives in New Castle, Colorado about 1 hour away from Aspen. And works in Aspen Colorado which growing up in Iowa even as a young girl she always wanted to do. She was always a John Denver fan and got to go to a taping of one of his Christmas specials. Walsh is a Magical place and thank you for this video. Very very well put together.

This video is perfect for my plans to go to Colorado❤️ When did you go? It seems like there were not much tourists during your visit and the weather is perfect.
You a real one.
I'll take that as a compliment 💁♀️
I wish i was your friend so i could tag along all these travel trips with you. This seems like a ton of fun.
I always wanted to move to Colorado 🤔💭
Awesome video. We also did the Paradise bakery for Ice cream and our family had so much fun, thanks for your recommendations. In the Elk Camp Gondola, they operate a couple of Chair Lifts. One of it is called Elk Camp Chair Lift, I believe, and the views up there was spectacular. This video does not cover it, but for anyone taking Elk Camp Gondola, don't miss the chair lifts.
Hey Jeanie! I've been using your videos as a guide for my upcoming rip to Colorado in June. Any recommendations on how the weather will be and what to pack? We're coming from New York and plan to do a lot of hiking. Thanks so much for all your information!
Hi, greetings from Kentucky! My fiancé and I will be traveling to Colorado on this week for week with stops in Glennwood Springs, Aspen, and other parts of CO. I met my fiancé in Glacier National Park where we worked for a few summers. Excited to see the Maroon Bells in Aspen since it reminded you all of Glacier. We love your videos and always look forward to the next one! :)
Yes, Maroon Bells is so beautiful and totally reminded me of Glacier. You going to love it. Have so much fun!!
This is pretty much the standard tour I took friends on when I lived in Breck save the coaster. If I ever win the lotto I am moving to Aspen.
i'll be there Oct 29t-Nov 2nd. I look forward.
Have an amazing time!!
❤❤❤
I go there every winter to Snowmass craving one of those crepes

Lovely video! What month was this trip filmed?
I believe the lake at Maroon Bells is called Maroon Lake, not Crater lake, which is in Oregon.
Wow thats next on my list! Beautiful! We just came from ouray and telluride and pagosa springs! Liked all except pagosa, im not a fan of the egg smell I guess, and the pools were nit warm enough. I dont recommend it. Ouray was spectacular as well as telluride.
Nice!! Yes, love Ouray!. I've not been to Pagosa Springs yet, but thanks for the heads up!!
Hey There,
Just wanted to ask is the maroon bells trail to the lake was easy, moderate or hard (not crater lake)? or is crater the lake the only lake in the area? Taking my parents on a trip and just want to make sure if it safe for them. Thank you so much. Your vlogs are so helpful.
I am visiting Maroon Bells this memorial weekend. I purchased the day parking space but do I also have to get a permit for me and my spouse to visit Maroon Bells lake?
Hi, for sunrise, do i need to make earlier reservation for parking ticket?
What camera you use for these blogs? It looks great!
Thank you! My phone a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and GoPro Hero 10! Thanks for watching!
What/where is the place at 17seconds in the intro ? Looking to enjoy some beautiful red rocks!
That's the Rattlesnake Arches in Grand Junction
When was it? It doesn't look many people there which is 👍
Hey Jeanie, I'm thinking of visiting Aspen for first time ever in November, Thanksgiving weekend. Is there anything you can tell me about how it is during that time. Apparently they are saying maroon bells is closed in November and idk why.
It will be winter in Aspen in November, and you can expect lots of snow. I'm assuming they close it down for winter due to all the snow they get.
How far from shuttle bus drop off point to maroon bell lake?
Planning for fall colors visit to Aspen. do you know which week will be the best for fall colors. Will be nice, if you can help with the approximate weeks(2022) for peak fall colors in Maroon bells, Breckenridge and any other nice places for fall colors around Denver. thanks in advance
Here's what to local news reported for fall color dates: www.kktv.com/2022/09/11/heres-when-see-fall-colors-colorado/
@@JeanieMarie thank you
Are there any bears or wild life along the trail to get to crater lake? Did you have bear spray?
We didn't see any, but yes we always have bear spray on us.
Can you fly a drone?
What’s the best month to go there??
Dumb And Dumber Brought Me Here!
Is there more to Colorado than just Outdoorsy stuff for those that aren't really that Outdoorsy? 🤔
Probably, but my Channel is based on Outdoorsy stuff!
you don’t need to film
yourself when you are talking.
Hey! So glad I found your content ! I’ve watched a few of your videos already today.. I’m going out to CO the last week of June/first week of July.. and this is my 6th visit out there and I’ll be staying with friends that live in Windsor, CO so of course I will be hiking throughout Rocky Mt NP, but we want to road trip it to either Maroon Bells or Crested Butte with a possible one night of camping I was thinking Crested Butte and Maroon Bells were closer. But maybe I’m wrong … if I had to pick one to visit , which should I pick? Any other tips, tricks, suggestions would be helpful! Thank you !😊💕
