It can’t be turned on when set to ‘Original’. If you turn it on then he picture gets set to ‘standard’ and becomes over brightened. You can claw back normal brightness by adjusting the st (gamma) setting and shadow detail setting but original is the most accurate. Only problem with original is that it doesn’t support hgig and the tv adopts a 4000 bit tone curve. I think that’s worth it imho but I’m still adjusting things to see which I like better
S90C destroys the C3 just saying I know first hand seen them both side by side plus I own the 77 inch S90C colors are way better on a QD-OLED and it’s way brighter plus it’s 120hz and 144hz on the S90C so it’s future proof. The C3 only 120hz
S90c 77 is better than C3 by most reviewers. Plus the 77 inch has the second generation panel. Only down side is no Dolby Vision. If that is not important to you than it is a clear choice. LG G3 is better but will cost you another $1K USD.
@@dojan yeah, Dolby Vision isn’t that big of a deal like some people may think HDR10+ vs Dolby Vision you don’t see really much of a difference at all well overrated. At first before I understood it I thought it was a big deal until I did side-by-side comparisons which it wasn’t a big deal at all . And I went with the S90C 77 inch and for the extra thousand dollars more bought the sound bar by Samsung Q930C 9.1.4 which ended up costing me only $4000 for everything great package deal . Rather than just buying a G3 for $4000. With no sound bar. But I absolutely love the S90C not only for movies but for gaming one of the best gaming TV you can get in 2023

I had the C3 and exchanged it for the S90C. I had the same issue RUclips TV especially didn't look all that great. I returned the s90 for the S95 and I feel it's quite a bit better. I did have one question, are you using an external streaming device ROKU/Apple TV? Try using the tv for processing, it seemed to be better for me when I did that. @@BM2525.

in my case, most accurate picture is not the most beautiful. My tv becomes a cheap tv on film maker mode. But it suits some darker movies to set the tone right, i guess. Otherwise, intelligent mode all the way.
This TV has an auto calibration if you have a samsung S series or an iPhone 14 or later. I did it and it made my movie preset look like filmmaker mode with stronger colors.
There is way to much picture and tv settings to do (out of the box) in moders TV's for average consumers. On one hand it's great to have some options but if we need to watch 10min long tutorials to adjust just elementary stuff on our tv i think it's gone to far and can confuse ordinary people who think that picture in standard or dynamic mode looks better (in their eyes) than in movie/filmmaker mode. Hi. I got my Samsung s90d oled. Everything looks great but watching cricket is not that good. The motion looks blurry especially the white ball. The native content is up to 1080p, sometimes 720p. It is less noticeable when the content is higher quality. I have tried looking for reddit on the topic but because the tv is no new, couldn’t find any for s90d. I searched older model s90c and it had similar issues. I tried the settings they said in the threads but didn’t change much. I tried changing the judder to 2 like the posts had suggested and so on. Any suggestions please? I plan on watching a good amount of sports on this tv and don’t want to be disappointed. Please let me know of the settings that will reduce motion blur. Thanks!
Hi. I need some help I bought my Samsung S 90 C in July. I had no issue with it but today I noticed that the screensaver comes on seems like every five minutes I have to keep touching the remote to make it go off I haven’t had this issue. It just started today. I wonder if they are setting that I can make the screensaver not come on or is it because I was watching sports all day, and the logos that were on the screen making the screensaver activate to protect it never did that before so I’m just trying to get some info on the problem. I would appreciate some info. I’ve looked on RUclips and everywhere and I can’t really find anything about it.
For online competitive gaming you want to use Game mode and disable all processing options which are available in the menus. Keep color temperature at Warm2 for the most accurate colors and adjust gamma if you want to see more shadow details. Hope this helps!
Isn't active tone mapping basically what dolby vision does minus the colour adjustment? Tone mapping based on the current scene vs the same for all content. Active should be better I would think.. and yet many, like this video, say keep static. Is my assumption wrong? I've narrowed my search down to the s90c or the LG b4.
Yes, you are correct, this is what Tone mapping control does to the picture. The issue with it is, it boost brightness too much, so the scenes end up being brighter that they should be if you want to follow ST.2084 curve by which HDR content is made. Clearly, the choice to use it or not depends on personal preference and I would use it in an environment with a lot of light, but if you can control room lighting, I'd keep it static.

Thanks for watching! Blur reduction works for 60i/p content such as live TV, sports etc. so if you max. it out you will see the most details in motion. Judder reduction is for movie content (24p) and it add motion interpolation as you increase it to 10 (movies start to look like live TV). Generally I keep blur reduction at 10 and Judder at 0, but up to 3 for Judder reduction it should be fine as you will get somewhat smoother movies without distracting artefacts and video-like feel. S90C is excellent TV, I'm sure you will enjoy its picture quite a lot.

try to lower the refresh rate, from the nvidia or amd control panel, and set it to 24hz, you can also use higher frequencies up to 50hz, with 60hz or more the tv should set entertainment and graphic mode, let me know if it solves, at least with the qn90b it worked

Really dislike warm 1 and warm 2. Everything looks too yellow imo. Used the standard setting. Also, contrast enhancer is off for me in hdr and sdr mode- much prefer it off.
Contrast high? I always recommend to check white level patterns and adjust it accordingly. On Samsung TVs white level is always set too high (for SDR) so you need to lower it a bit. Related to other settings, for that I'm offering paid PDF documents with the full explanation, please check the links in the description.
It prevents the TV from resetting picture settings and switching automatically to Dynamic/Vivid modes. Over the years I've realized there are those who watch the TV in Store mode and that's why I always start with this tip.

Pozdrav! Nisam testirao QN95, no ne ocekujem da je bitno bolji od S90C. S90C ima odlican kontrast i dinamički raspon te definitivno slika nije pretamna. Jedino ako ćeš pretežno igrati po danu i uz mnogo okolnog svjetla, u tom slucaju treba kupiti TV sa sto vecom svjetlinom.

You stated you can change in picture mode, but I can't at all only have two modes only they are eye comfort and optimized my current ver. is 1222. = T ptmcakuc 1222 is there a way to get it to movie mode or filemaker or any other modes need help. Check power and energy settings and make sure screen saver is off

Usually Medium is sufficient, but you can try both and decide which is better for you.

Why have you got the contrast so high? Also, you just talked through some of the settings without giving advice.

Usage mode - home mode: what does it exactly?
It prevents the TV from resetting picture settings and switching automatically to Dynamic/Vivid modes. Over the years I've realized there are those who watch the TV in Store mode and that's why I always start with this tip.

Darko jesi li imao qn95 a ili nešto slično. Htio bih kupiti s90c jer ne želim uzeti s95c jer mi je dosta conenect boxa a velika je razlika u cijeni i nekog sam dojma da nije s95c puno bolji od s90c... Igram igre ali najviše gledam serije i filmove u sdr. Moje je pitanje da li će na s90c biti puno tamnija slika nego na mom qn95a... Hvala ti u svakom slučaju na informacijama koje nam daješ.
Pozdrav! Nisam testirao QN95, no ne ocekujem da je bitno bolji od S90C. S90C ima odlican kontrast i dinamički raspon te definitivno slika nije pretamna. Jedino ako ćeš pretežno igrati po danu i uz mnogo okolnog svjetla, u tom slucaju treba kupiti TV sa sto vecom svjetlinom.
I have a major problem with my s95c 65. model qn65s95cafxza . You stated you can change in picture mode, but I can't at all only
have two modes only they are eye comfort and optimized my current ver. is 1222. = T ptmcakuc 1222 is there a way to get it to movie mode or
