I was fortunate to see Tammy Wynette in the 1990's at The Sheffield City Hall when she toured the UK and i was surprised how strong her voice was it had a lot of power. During the last song Tammy walked down the steps from the stage and started to walk towards the audience, she then walked along the rows of people shaking their hands while she sang it was amazing, i had never experienced an artist who did this before and I have always remembered it because it was so personal what she did.
Tammy was a magnificent singer. There are so many people with broken hearts. She left us so many beautiful songs to listen to. Georgette does a tremendous job on her mothers's songs!
