    These turbo manifold also fit perfectly into Ls swapped g-body’s. We’ve used these budget manifolds for two builds! One of our cars runs 6.5’s with this forced performance manifold and forced performance 78/75! You can’t beat them for the money!
    Awesome content guys, look forward to seeing what this thing can do 🤘

      How are you mounting the wastegate. Oh crap this turbo has a wastegate flange? Where do I find this.

    • @schmittbox636
      @schmittbox636 Год назад

      @@theshark2804 there’s a few ways to do it, some mount the wastegate to the hot side exhaust housing of the turbo. Forced performance actually sells a hotside that’s already welded which makes it super easy. My personal car has the wastegate on the crossover pipe. I believe that’s the way they did the truck also. Both ways work great!

      @@schmittbox636 well I’m looking at doing a Huron system since I wouldn’t have to do any welding. I just looked at forced induction and they are super expensive. I’m good. I’ll do the Huron system with a gt45 and call it a day

    Got the same manifold. I have a few hours into cleaning up all the casting boogers on mine.

      Yep, it's a dirty ol' casting for sure. We spent a bit of time on the die grinder to make her a little less mangy.

    Building a turbo junkyard 5.3 right now to drop in my 2010 chevy silverado approaching 200k, so far I got most the parts:
    Camshaft - BTR stage 2 turbo cam kit with titanium springs and retainers and pushrods, gaskets and cam bolt - 836.51
    Fuel Pump - AEM e-85 compliant - 160.00
    Fuel pressure regulator - 130.00
    Turbo - T4 Turbocharger kit for GT45 Universal Turbo Kit Perfect For 4.0L-6.0L engine comes with turbo, accessories, front mount and injectors - 713.00
    Turbo log manifolds - FP T4 log manifold around 400 for both sides
    Anyone have any pointers? First turbo build I am doing by myself, all I have worked on in the past is DSMs (Eagle Talons, Plymouth Lasers, GSTs, GSXs) I appreciate any guidance to make my build the best experience I can make it. Thank you for your time, and thank you for sharing your video!

      @murkymurph8355 came off a newer 1500, this fan setup was out of a 2010ish tahoe. You need to order one of the larger 34" radiators to use the factory chevy e fans.

    Is forced inductions going to ever get any turbo LS crossover pipes back in stock? Maybe for christmas? Like last year

    • @forcedperformance768
      @forcedperformance768  Год назад +2

      Forced Inductions or Forced Performance? Two different companies! I don't think we plan on selling any more crossover pipes, they are easy to DIY and the price point on these was a bit high. Basically just a couple straights with two 90's.

      Forced Performance is an older company than Forced Inductions, they just liked the name ;)

      LOL I'm sorry I meant Forced performance. I should know the difference because I have owned turbos from both companies.

      Trimix gas (generally don't want to run 75/25 on stainless) and solid stainless wire. You caaaaan but most folks don't keep a separate bottle of more obscure gas. We use a Tig and 100% argon here for anything stainless.

    Does that turbo have integrated wastegate mounting ?

    • @forcedperformance768
      @forcedperformance768  Год назад

      Yes! It has a flange so you can bolt a TiAL F38 directly onto it. It has worked perfect from 6psi up to the 16psi we are currently at.

      A hint of bend, the best choice is to swap to a later style setup though. We torched the soft line twice on this thing.
