On my 2001 civic it was the whole fuse box.It controlled alot of functions:.air, key chime, door lights, door locks etc.

Yeah, that’s what I thought mine was, but I wasn’t going to buy one until I was 100% sure it needed one, I’m pretty sure if this was taken to the dealership the would have sold me the box

I have the same car LEDS in all my map lights, cabin light and trunk. Never had a problem for years but the map light on the right front is flashing on and off intermittently Any ideas?

Loose connection somewhere, maybe even the LED, I would switch the left LED with the right LED and see what if it follows the bulb

Hey Danny I have the same Civic ex model but the lights for the Fan, volumen UP, AC an all those buttons on the panel do not Turn on and I can not see that part in the night. Can you do a video fixing that?

I'll be uploading a video tomorrow on replacing the bulbs, if that helps, or do you have more of a dimmer or illumination or ac control head issue

So, I pulled my aux port out (working on the fix) and 3 days later my interior light fuse blew. Could that be related? I replaced the fuse and it blew again. Help😩

I doubt it, unplug the auxiliary port and see if the problem goes away, the interior fuse has a lot of components on that circuit, without looking at a schematic I don’t know if the aux port is related

HI Danny. Love the channel. I have an 08 civic and have been replicating almost all of your videos. Very helpful. I'm having the exact same issue you are with the dome light in the front. I can manually turn the front dome lights on by hand but they do not turn on when the door opens. (only the back lights do). My pink wire seems completely intact. There was not an alarm installed. I really have no idea what could be the issue. Any ideas?

Wish I could give you the magic answer, but I cannot

@@dannysdiygarage thanks for the reply. Pretty cool that you took the time to do that. After working on the car further this past weekend I believe it had to do with the whole light assembly on the ceiling. Might have to do with a ground. It started working when I screwed it back together but it still occasionally goes in and out.

@@balvey1330 I'm having exact issue on my 08, except the back/top dome completely doesn't work. I checked both fuse boxes too and they're fine. Did you figure it out?

@@spotsproyl I figured out my problem. I just replaced the 2 switches (clickers) in the front dome lights. Like $5-10 on amazon.
