  • Master Maker from Podpadstudios tells it like it is, and reviews his latest little gadget. The Sealey SMS2008 Drill bit sharpener.
For years he has been 'discarding' his old drill bits into a draw, being a hoarder, erm, we mean valuing the precious resources that flow through the workshop, he can not throw them away...

Thanks for the review. Have been wondering how well this works, versus the varying reviews as you pointed out. By the way, the hole on the top allows you to create split points.

Thanks for the feedback: you are so kind. No responsibilities here if anyone decides to build their own tanks 😏

I wouldn't know how to use a drill bit but I know those that do get VERY exasperated if they aren't sharp - so anything that stops exasperation is good in my book!

Let us know how you get on with it, it's saved us loads in terms of not buying drill bits, plus being able to re use is just so much better for the environment

Been using it pretty much daily since we bought it. (Master maker had kept EVERY Blunt drill bit he's ever used... there were A LOT of them, we are working through the draw...) and not showing any signs of wear - I guess you'd have to contact @sealeytools to find out more - but it's pretty cheap to replace.
