  • Cleaning out the bottom pan of a Loretone LS-14 Slab Saw that had not had the "rock snot" removed for a while. Not quite an "oddly satisfying" video, this is the time lapse of the cleaning/restoration process. The saw is fully functional. Just needed a lot of clean up.
This is a bit of departure from the normal Night Stone Art videos, however we recently purchased a slab saw whose owner was no longer able to use it due to health issues. It had apparently not been cleaned out for a very long time. The sludge at the bottom was so deep that it had built up around the lower structure of the main saw body (that'll probably only make sense to folks who have owned or worked with an LS14).
