- A beautiful collection of over 30 piano works by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt. Liszt gained a renown in Europe during the early nineteenth century for his prodigious virtuosic skill as a pianist. Some of his most notable musical contributions were the invention of the symphonic poem, developing the concept of thematic transformation as part of his experiments in musical form, and making radical departures in harmony.

Good Evening From Mumbai, India
It is 7: 45 P.M. Indian Standard Time when I decided to visit your You Tube Channel and I was pleasantly surprised with this Gorgeous Upload.
I Love This Stuff, Piano Classics. Many Thanks For Uploading The Very Best Of The Piano Works Of Franz Liszt.
Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies appeal to me the most as I was exposed to them from the age of 10. I had an audio cassette for a number of years which was nothing but Liszt's Tuneful and Melodious Compositions.
His Liebestraume ranks very high in my humble opinion.
Thanks again. I have added this upload to my list of liked Videos.
Have a Great Week - End.
Till Next Week Then. I make it a point to check your You Tube Channel at least once a week, usually on a Friday Night Indian Time.
I am so glad and besides myself that the week -end will be spent by me in the esteemed company of Mr Liszt's Piano Works.
We're very glad we could give you such pleasant company to start the weekend with. Thank you for watching our videos and listening to the amazing music! Have a great weekend.

Thanks for liking my music
Dieser Autor verwandelt seine Musik in romantische Gedichte oder voller Spiritualität
wheres hungarian rhapsody 2 ,6 and la campanella still nice though
-I don’t think Hungarian Rhapsody is one of his best work. No. 9, 11, 12 and 15 as they had mentioned, is better. In fact I think every other rhapsody, and every other work in general, is better.
His second Hungarian Rhapsody was actually one of three pieces that was forbidden at his Master Classes. He refused pianists to play it at his Master Classes.
-La Campanella have nearly become the new Flight of the Bumblebee. Although it clearly have a lot more substance, we need other music to promote Liszt. We need to show people that Liszt is more than these pieces. Glad that Grosses Konzertsolo is here. Often a neglected work. The Sonata should be here too.
Just my reflections. 😊
@@LeifD958 And besides both of them are far more overused but there are lot of pieces one should listen to
@@LeifD958 Hungarian rhapsody 2, 6 are also masterpiece!!!!
@@Franz_Liszt_Korean
Yes, they are. And I think I will lend some word from Copland: “everything Liszt wrote has something of interest in it”.😊
@@LeifD958 Haha. Thank you
