First train journey on Cross River Rail - CPB Contractors

Now, this was a pretty special 4km train trip! 🤩
Our delivery of Brisbane’s transformational Cross River Rail project has reached another significant milestone, with its first train entering one of the twin tunnels and journeying to a new underground station platform.⤵️🆕
The inaugural trip involved the train entering the tunnel at a low speed of approximately five kilometres per hour and using minimal power to conduct several critical tests, including testing the overhead power systems with the train and ensuring safe movement through the tunnel.
