The wait is over we got to assemble our Deckplate 6.7L Cummins Enforcer Series engine from D&J Precision Machine. Watch as it all comes together and a little shop tour!
Always really cool to see how different shops operate. I'm sure as someone that works at PDD you have a really good appreciation for it. Also as an engine builder I'm sure it's like a kid in a candy shop. All the billet parts! Hope you have a safe trip home. Can't wait to see the 05 hurt some more feelings this year.
YesSiRr!! HektiK!! LoL!! Congrats on uR new Build! Mate..dat thing looks fRikKiN Amazing!! Good oN'yah bro..looking forward to what's to come! YesSiRr!
Those total seal rings I just wonder I guess that’s a really good package I’m thinking about something like that when I rebuild my 59 it’s not gonna be a major racer by any chance but just trying to make the engine more efficient I had a zero gap set of rings and I still do in my stage five hemi conversion in my 72 Plymouth and far as I’m concerned I seen the results and other applications are the step second ring from Childs and Albert was excellent
2 stone hone "rebuild" is going strong! How much oil did you go through in your 4,000 mile journey? Love the look inside your new engine. So it's a stock block with a 1" deckplate? Stock stroke? Production or aftermarket crank?
@@horsetorquesdiesel some might even say that 3 gallons on a 1300 HP truck with a 2 stone hone "rebuild" is barely any. I would be in that camp. Glad you made the round trip just fine, you know, just your basic 1300 HP street truck.
Hey josh I’ve been curious to ask you guys why mur or whatever switched to a common rail? Isn’t the 12v the holy grail for performance??? I’m curious to hear both your guys inputs on why he changed. Thanks man!
@@horsetorquesdiesel that’s all I wanted to hear! Thanks for replying brotha! I have an 02 I’ve been contemplating on swapping to p pump and when I saw he did that swap really started questioning if it was worth it. You have so much knowledge I wish there was an easier way I could stay in touch and get your input on certain things throughout my build process because I’m really green but really wanting to do a lot myself. Thanks!
I'm assuming Drew does MM3 tunes? I'd like to take my 2003 over to him when I get my 2nd gen swap done for tuning. I'm in PA so it's about a 6 hr drive.
Why did yoy put lifers lifers in a cummins. did the lifers take the place of where the Tappets would normally go and if so what kind benefit did you get from doing that
I’m celebrating 7 years of marriage in a few days. I have 2 kids. Own homes, I do not have any truck payments. I work hard, invest some Money and work harder.
@@horsetorquesdiesel its ok Brother I just wish I had the money to make my 2008 Ram 3500 Dually as good as your's . No disrespect intended at all . Your a very nice and humble guy thats why I follow you. It will just take me a couple years to get my Dually going good . I plan on having 1200-1500HP within 2yrs so I'll be good . I just mess around I'm not a professional race guy. I just love Cummins !!!!
Did they attach the torque plate using head bolts or studs? I've seen a bunch of shops use bolts when the final build calls for studs which seems to negate the whole process.
I don't wanna pry too much but what does a build like this cost? I'd love to have a purpose built weekend drag truck but I only just got my first diesel so I got a lot to learn before I'm at that stage. But just to make 800 hp it's already cost as much as my 5.7 Hemi stroker build did 🤣.
Yeah I believe their performance series are around 18-20 ish depending on options. Then enforcers start around 28ish before you do extra stuff if I remember right. Niiicccce motors. I’m wanting to do the performance series. Just to have a solid 1200 compound setup I never have to worry on. Later down the road of course haha
You going to D&J and "mentoring" while building this engine is going to benefit a ton of people I believe.
Glad to see a 1200Hp+ Cummins picking up a ripper from D&J. They seem like awesome guys!
Awesome video Josh thanks for taking the time to film the billed
As always God bless you and stay safe 🙋♂️🇬🇧
My pleasure! Thanks and same to you!
Man ! What a badass engine !! Can’t wait to see her in action 💪🏻
Roller lifters a huge benefit.
I can’t say it enough this is the best diesel channel on RUclips.
Means a lot thank you!
Looks exciting and so cool for them to welcome you in excited to see it running
Dang you've got a jewel right there.
Great content man.
Wow, what an engine. I wish I could reach out and touch the mirror finish. Lol.. it looks like a sleeping gladiator. But wait until it wakes up!

More content like this down the road ?
Building a full 6.7 very very soon!
I thought the motor went in the front! 😜 looks sweet! Good luck !
Dude I get so excited every time you come out with a new video. Great content. Makes me excited to build my 12 valve. Hoping for a 1000 hp
Back early again love the vids man

Show me a daily driven 1100hp 12v that’s smoke free. Reason we switched more streetable power. 12 valves are Smokey pigs

Hey josh do you recommend a Cummins oem headgasket or a different brand? I will be running a 467.7 and I have arp 625’s that I’ll be installing.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🚂👌🏻
I would love to know how you young guys are affording these amazing race engines ? You must not have any kids or own a house and vehicle payments ...

Another comment shows that it was $36k with a core.
The trump hat 🤌
How much is that engine
How much was this ?! 😱
About 20 grand
Retail is 36k with core. I’m not going to go into details but Drew gave me a fair price, and I’m thrilled

But will it actually be fun if nothing ever breaks?? Lol
My 05 just got destroyed by some stupid kid on his phone.
Rear-ended, almost killed me
I’m confused? I wasn’t driving when I shot the talking point I was in a parking lot.
It’s a shame that you have to hide the engine under the hood.
I feel the same way!
