They way I heard Moto gear manufacturers describe that “middle” strap is it’s the strap that secures the glove to your hand, so my philosophy is opposite yours lol the bigger Velcro strap at the bottom of my glove doesn’t get touched at all & I tighten the glove around my wrist with that skinnier middle strap. I think of it like the only strap on short cuff gloves, if that makes sense

I love my Ravenmoto Frost gloves, great in the winter, I only use latex underneath 35°f and lower.
The pants I got shrunk halfway up my shin tho
