I never really watched basketball besides the Spurs playoff games until two years ago (lived in Texas at the time). So I never really watched Dwight, D Rose, old Kobe and Shaq, etc. Watching these sorts of videos gives me a lot of context for what I missed out on, and man seeing Rose breaking down on hearing that trade news was rough. I’m a Nuggets fan since I’m here in Colorado, and hearing the story of Murray’s torn ACL and hearing how he thought the Nuggets were gonna trade him was also really sad. I’m so happy that Coach Malone stood up for him and reassured him, because he’s a great player and helped us win our first ring. I wish Rose could have had a rebound like that, man.
