All things considered, J Lin had a very, very good career. Made multiple millions, and got a ring. Not to mention, a cultural icon for Asians and Asian Americans worldwide. Thank you Jeremy. And thank you nbagoober13 for another banger of a video.
remember when we were skimming through your tv looking for nba content on youtube and stumbled upon this gem of a channel. never looked back since.
@@tuah7906 ayyy my man ✊🏼🔥 even on this platform we ran into each other 😂
@@FirashAdryan dont know who you 2 are but this is wholesome🐯
He peaked with the Knicks in 2012 and got a ring as the 13th man with raptors and you talking like he is going to the hall of Fame lol
@@cookiemonster64 nobody ever said he's going into the HOF he's just appreciative of what J Lin did for the Knicks and an inspiration to Asian Americans and while your sitting on your nasty ass couch hating on him this man has made more than 3 generations of your family combined ☠☠☠
Jeremy the ultimate goober
Imagine Jeremy Lin on the 2015-2019 Warriors. Push the pace and perfect off the bench as the 2nd or 3rd point guard behind Steph.
Lin would've made the lineup of Steph, Klay, Dray, and KD completely INVINCIBLE
That would have been insane, especially in 2015-16 because he had a great year as the hornet's 6 man
Or just move curry to shooting guard. He isn't a real pg anyway
And Melo never won a ring while Jeremy got one on his last year in the league.
Kind of satisfying, but i wish Melo had one too :/
Jeremy Lin peaked with the Knicks and Carmelo is a hall of famer
Melo is hall of famer and lin won ring as benchwarmer
@@nba4life9a ring is a ring
@@dustyri04and a HOF is a HOF
I just don’t understand how the Knicks didnt really embrace him as their PG. If Melo wasn’t so selfish he and Lin could have been an nice duo or at the very least he could have been the floor general they desperately needed back then
Carmelo actually said he wanted him on team next year but knicks couldn't offer him as much money as rockets did
@@nba4life9 bullshit, Amare, Mike and Lin all said Melo was selfish and had a problem with Lin. Cause he was taking up some of the spotlight probably. Guys don’t tell the truth if it defames them I wish fans understood this
@@michaelbarnes2126no they didnt you i/diot
Damn to think this was just some time after Bron's Miami entrance and Rose's MVP reign. The early 2010's hit different and I'm glad I got to watch a lot of those seasons with my friends in college.
It rly coulda been goobsanity if not for the devastating knee Injury 😢❤
One of my favorite sports stories I’ve witnessed
i will always thank jeremy for making the knicks relevant again, even for a lil bit
Jeremy Lin really had meme stock like career, peaked intensely and then flattened out, maybe teams finally decided to watch film on him and they figured out how to defend him, maybe he never found a perfect roster or situation that he did with the melo-less knicks, or maybe it was a combination of all of these elements, I can't say that he didn't have a great career in the nba though especially with how humble his beginnings were in the league, he will forever be an inspiration to asian ballers like myself lol
Cool video nbagoober13
Thank you Nicholas30109
Melo cared more about the spotlight than winning, he is a large reason that Lin wasn’t as successful as he could’ve been
i have been waiting for this video for a long time classic goober W
I'm really enjoying the long form content, and when i found you about. a year ago i thought you were bigger because of your production quality and how entertaining your videos are. I hope you finally get the success you've been working so hard for.

he had so much potential, unfortunate what happened on the knicks with melo
i remember this season when cam thomas was lookin like Linsanity
“led the nerds” 😂
I wonder how the 12-13 season would go with Lin. NY was the 3rd seed that year.
2:01 😂
My knicks always manage to mess everything up somehow.
Sup dude
goobin time
The reason JLin went to Harvard cuz no d1 offered him and spot and scholarship even though he led his HS to a state champ as captain and had amazing stats
Jeremy Lin is the ultimate nba goober and I do not take that title lightly considering I have asked on multiple occasions for nba goober to kiss me, one of those occasions resulting in my wish being granted
Bae wake up goober just dropped
Tripped balls for about 11h so I’m here now…11 hours later
A Saturday upload??
😏
real
Lin got a championship and Melo never got one lol.
Melo is a future hall of famer lol
Melo is top 75 nba and lin is like top 750 haha
If Jeremy was that cold my rockets gave him hella money and was straight buns 😂😂😂😂 but he was gone lead the knicks to a ring 😅
I thought this was about Jokic
The third NBA player I ever heard about behind Kobe and Melo
9:14 u live in Atlanta
Who is better, team of 5 lebron's or 1 LINSANITYYYYYYY
Jeremy Lin had that DOG! in him
If you know what I mean 😈
oh nahhh
Only player ever to come out of Harvard 🤓
The BIG reason he was successful was JESUS CHIRST, NO CAP
like, comment, & goob
this why i hate melo fr
6:45 It's clear you didn't do your homework. It's not Carmelo's fault Lin wanted most money he could get. He said in interview that he wanted him on team. Knicks were already paying luxury tax and they didn't want to bet on guy who had great 10 game stretch (between averaging almost 6 turnovers during those games). Truth is Lin was looking for payday he got it and knicks made good decisions not paying him because he was just above average roll player. Guys like you are reason why Lin is so overrated.
2021 i was pissed that lin wasnt the backup point for the warriors instead trash a** brad wannamaker.
Damn this makes me hate carmelo all over again
Shutup
Melo spoiled Linsanity booooo!!!!
Carmelo Anthony sucks😂
Imagine watching your team winning in a new system then forcing them to go back to yours which was losing before and is losing again.
Like what if when lebron came back from his injury he made austin reaves and company stop what they were doing. We wouldnt have gotten out of the playin😂
It wasnt a new system you i/diot, it was the same system by D'Antoni that always benefits point guards and Melo hated playing for D'Antoni
And what is we shit. Screw the Lakers
first
NBA players are nothing than a bunch of sneaks!
The way this linsanity thing is overhyped is so funny he peaked with knicks lol knicks made the smart decision by not re-signing him.... And how is everyone else fault Jeremy wasnt good
As excellent as that week was for Jeremy Lin, the Knicks not matching that deal was one of the only good decisions that FO made last decade. We saw how Lin's career ended up after NY.
That’s because he was either misused or injured. Fair hindsight point on injuries but he was never given a fair shake after NY, and even during NY once Melo came back. Also, besides that anomaly of a 54 win season the Knicks didn’t really do much afterwards.
@@farstrider4592 Lin post NY didn’t prove that he could be even a valuable 3rd option on a winning team. He extremely ball dominant and wasn’t a good jump-shooter. I just don’t think his play style would’ve attributed to long term team success ignoring the injury problems.
@@JoeBro915 And you think the other two teams like Houston and Lakers who relied on Ball Hogs hadn't seen potential in players with his style of Play? Remember Lin was also a good passer unlike Foul Baiting Harden and Older Kobe Bryant.
If Lin just found a team willing to support his style of play he'd be a champion sooner.
@@youngrody2386 Jeremy was never the jumpshooter or playmaker that Harden was do not be ridiculous. A Jeremy Lin lead team is in the sweepstakes for the first pick
