- Back in the year of 2012, Jeremy Lin put together one of the greatest runs in NBA History, as he stormed onto the scene playing at the level of a potential savior of the New York Knicks after being undrafted just two years earlier. But, as Lin signed with the Houston Rockets in the offseason and truly never looked the same again, with injuries playing a large part in that becoming the reality. But... what if Linsanity simply never ended?

@@Auto209 he was never really given an opportunity in a good situation after New York and even though he played pretty well as a role player the NBA gave up on him and now he’s not on a team even though he is better than a lot of guys in the NBA

Kobe doesn't like him so he said to their coach and GM. Don't give him any playtime.
IMO, Lin was one of the biggest missed opportunities. He was a 1st option type player. After his time in Houston as a Robin, he was never the same mainly because he wasn't used to being the 2nd option.

Hey Clique , love the vids . Just thought I’d share a unique idea for a multiple part series . This idea is your definition of “why the hell not” , and what you do is ; start the league off with all 40 overalls (basically resetting the league). And every year , you spin a big wheel of all the premise draft classes in the game (2003, 1983, etc.) , from 1960 to current day . Doing this will extremely scramble the league and will result in some crazy combos like Kareem and Chris Paul , Magic and Lebron , etc. Keep Killing it .

yo clique you should make a video where you replace every player in the league with a subscribers name, and then just sim a ton of years and see which sub turns out to be the goat
Nice sims. I still follow Jeremy's career, more or less, in the CBA, which that league has resumed play while the NBA is still suspended. He is still going strong. However, it does kind of feel less exciting to not see him in the NBA. Is he the best or worse? No, he is average, or slightly above average & that is fine. His message, as a minority that is seldom seen in the league, & teams being biased because of his ethnicity, is what is inspiring. Now, I have been a Portland Trail Blazer fan since the mid 1980's. But when the Blazers got swept in the WC series against the Warriors in 2018, that was one more nail in the coffin, a tipping point for me to just have less & less interest for me to watch them. Actually it started a couple seasons earlier when the local television station finally stopped showing free games which they had been doing since at least the early 1980's. I instead had to listen to the games live on AM radio (my internet is crap). But when there were TWO rumors of Jeremy Lin possibly getting traded to the Blazers, the 1st rumor in January 2019, before his trade to the Raptors, and the 2nd rumor in summer 2019, after his championship with them, I got a bit excited that he could be with my one & only favorite team. Those rumors can be Googled. When both rumors did not become real, I got disappointed. I can understand 1 rumor not being possible, but 2 rumors of the same thing spaced 6 months apart, well how could that not come to fruition? Once the possible trade in the summer did not happen, I pretty much threw in the towel. That and the fact that day when Jeremy opened up & cried about not being taken back into the NBA, I just felt bad for him. With all those events that I just mentioned, from no more free aired Blazer TV games in 2016, swept in 2018 wcf, no Jeremy-Blazers in 2019 after 2 rumors, plus Jusuf's season-long leg injury (Blazers center curse strikes again), the Blazers' acquisition of Carmelo & the fact they were way sinking in the standings before the pandemic, all that made me finally lose interest with the Blazers, after 4 decades of watching them. Before Jeremy, my last NBA hero was Clyde Drexler. I miss those days with the Glide, especially when playing basketball was also in my veins. Now I can't anymore, really since 2003, because of back issues & getting older, lmao. Who knows how much longer Jeremy has before pro retirement. Could get in 5 more years of play, if not 10.
