I just gotta say it's really upstanding of you to pay the seller after you've gotten a refund. I've had similar situations where I was the seller and my buyers ended up with free product simply because of shipping delays outside of my control. I've known you were an upstanding guy from years of watching your videos but I just wanted to tell you it's refreshing to know that there are still people with integrity on the internet. On a side note, I've always been leery of buying anything from overseas and was wondering if you've ordered from other countries before.
I have probably bought 5 or 6 things from overseas. The worst wait was from China but in all fairness that time took 6 months but was when they had that shipping strike and the containers were held up at a port in CA. But I keep those purchases light just in case.
Yeah, mine took a moth and a half to get here which surprised me as my Svarog Mould came in 6 days. Mine sat in Russia for a couple of weeks before they got around to letting it go here. Your's probably sat for the same reason mine did and who knows what that was. I deburred some of the parts which were a little rough and lubed up the spindles and the thing works pretty good. I found that clamping a piece of Sandpaper between the tool and the table top helps to stop it from moving around while you crank on it. One thing I will say is that despite the Political BS going on between our countries I think all our major disagreements are isolated in DC and Moscow. The Regular Russian People are just like us and enjoy the same things we do! They are making alot of really good shotgun loading stuff.
I have a Russian roll crimp press. Like omv or colvini. Amazing. My Russian A.S mold smelt like a old mil surp. Reminds me of cosmoline. Forest camping, svarog, and A.S.
I have one of these exact roll crimpers in 12g and it works great! A sniff of oil on the moving parts and on the crimper itself helps things along. I think they made mine in such a hurry that they left a bunch of metal shavings and cutting fluid stuck on part of it and then just painted straight over it! I don't care though, I enjoy using it 😁
