Several months ago, everyone was talking about the front line workers. They mentioned doctors and nurses, but I never heard anyone mention truck drivers. If all the truckers decided to sit at home collect stimulus, the country would literally come to a halt after a few days and mass chaos would erupt. The most immediate and critical needs of the country are energy and transportation. Without that, most people would not last long.

i just pasted my written test today, i work for a company that will help you get your cdl. i work in the area where we load bulk tanker loads of hazmat and i move tankers around the yard with a international. i've been doing that for a little over a year now and i decided to finally get my cdl and i pasted all 4 tests first try today (i had to take tanker for the company) im so excited

Old days drove gmc brigadier and general day cabs. Had board to sleep across the seats. No sleeper until later in my career. Good memories. Then drove freightliner cab over and conventional with sleepers. What a m9v3 up it was.

I’m new to your channel, so you might know this by now. The best way to clean off wet mirrors is to put on the mirror heat. When it dries off, use a dry rag to clean off the residue.

Love the stop in Cadott WI at the end. I grew up close by and would stop in at this Cenex for gas and food after fishing at a local lake when I was a child. Lots of great memories here, glad you were able to visit this place.

I can't drive anymore due to health reasons. Riding along with you brings back a lot of memories. I ran 48 states and local with flat-bed, reefer, dry van and tanker. Started back in the early 70's when we didn't have ac, power steering or air ride seats. Most of that came around when the ladies started trucking. They were smarter than the men because they bitched about not having the goodies and fancy trucks and companies started getting better equipment. Little tip I learned, if you put your 4 ways on that does a pretty good job of lighting up the rear area also. Keep on trucking lil bro.

I’ve done loads anywhere from 6 to 14 drops, mine were to building supply stores. I got most of my deliveries done on Sunday. Delivering to Newfoundland
You done good. I always dreaded the big cities. Dock doors right on the side walk then a 70' dark hole to the dock. I delivered groceries for many years. It was not so bad once you got to know them, and as you pointed out, usually great people working the dock.
I just got my start at Progressive. The date just so happens to be my birthday. Feels good to know I’ll be driving rigs LEGALLY soon lol. Thanks for the inspiration

If it's a good small company willing to help you, go for it. If it's a mega carrier, walk away unless you enjoy indentured slavery.

Try rain x washer fluid its good in cold temps and helps get rid of bugs and road grime. Leaves a film on your window water beads up nice.
