My idea on your deck plate ; Being a welder/fabrication guy for two decades and a machinist for 5 years before that. My 2 cents : drill the frame holes bigger and use a urathane bushing over the original bolts. Everything will look exactly the same on the outside, but now the frame can twist / flex a bit without pinching and shearing the bolts. 🤷 Might work. Edit: another trucking channel I watch is Bonehead Truckers. 😂 For good laughs 😂
Now that I’ve been driving I see peterbelts flying past me they always bring smiles to me and just thinking about when I get mine. Hope all is getting well and everything is copacetic

Drill a hole through the bolt and "thread housing" then slap a cotter pin in there and she will hold, maybe a little loctite to😂
