Windows 7 is like the .1 version of Vista (W8-->W8.1), if Microsoft had lauched Vista 6 months later, with the manufacturers offering propper drivers and the major bugs fixed, and XP had its support vut of in 2011 as it should have been, Vista would be remembered as we remember 7 today, and probably 7 would be what we know as 8 today.
In my opinion: Windows XP = A classic operating system. It was ahead of its time, looks great and is very user friendly. Very weird to think that it's 22 years old. Windows Vista = Looks very good for 2007, but launched with a lot of issues, putting people off upgrading to it. Windows 7 = Best looking version of Windows, and had all the necessary improvements. Also seemed to have great compatibility with older applications, especially ones designed for XP. Honestly, I can't believe that this operating system is now 14 years old. Microsoft should add all legacy themes on windows 11 and 10 and greater not only for nostalgia also for security reasons, people break their computer just to go back to old good days

This was a time when 1 core CPUs were common and 2 core CPUs were just introduced. So relative to the time, no it isnt. Compared to now? Probably better, but theres no point in using it since theres no support
I never hate vista. All the operating system of windows works different they make for different purposes and all the operating system of windows are great all are best also windows 8.
