Bro keep up the good work, it’s good to see people like you out there building up sportsters there own way and not just how everyone else is doing it. Can’t wait to see the next build 🤙🏼
Yeah I'm keen to start tearing into the ironhead, this was more of a cookie cutter bolt stuff on project where as the ironhead will be alot more fabrication work 🤟
Looks mint and great editing on your vids. Really liking your content. I have an 08 sportster nightster and am pinching ideas and how to’s off your channel. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻
Hey mate finally checked with my mate who is into resins and epoxies and there is not much you can do about that temp making it soft. Except maybe a aluminium plate structure that has a resin covering. Bike is looking awesome ..👍🏻🇦🇺
Nice work GM. Your videos have been great to watch. I've got a 2014 Sportster 1200C and I really want to do the fork mod. I only want to go up around 1". But I'll need to extend my brake line too. So your video on that was very informative. Did you notice any power increase with the belt to chain conversion? I've heard it adds a few hp.
The gearing I went with for the chain conversion was very close to stock so there wasn't too much of a noticeable difference. If you went with a larger rear sprocket than I did it would increase bottom end torque/acceleration down low.
Nice work! Have you considered getting a job in a custom bike shop? I reckon if you sent a heap of your videos as a portfolio, you would get a job as a bike builder no worries! I agree with ditching the rabbit ear bars. Makes the bike look stunted and a bit gimmicky. I'm surprised it wasn't a pain in the arse to ride with them.
@@harrybath-barranco7032 I didn't have to extend the abs wire but it was close to its limit. I had a custom made brake line by going onto the hel performance brake line website based in aus. Here's a link au.helperformance.com/
I bought them directly from tracker die but they're out of business now despite their website still being up. Just google trackerdie fork dampers and they may pop up with another business.
Excellent job. Love the cam cover and chain conversion.
Excellent work, mate. Totally inspiring.
@@davidjames1377 thanks mate 🙏

Mate that father in law of your's is a keeper. Sporty is looking good & looking forward to the Ironhead build.
I'd be lost without him, his fabrication skills will come in handy on the ironhead hardtail build 😅
@@TheGingybeardMan You be sure and tell him no name said your a keeper.
@@NoName-qv8ko just told the old boy, it put a smile on his face 🙌
Well done brother the slimed down front end sets it off nicely and the rest suits the bike.
Excellent brother another project.
🤙🇳🇿
Cheers Dave, I've gotta accept the bike's done and move onto the next one otherwise it'll never end 😅

Looks awesome man ! Great job !

Looks awesome, congratulations.
Your bike looks great. Especially when it had the rabbit handle bars.
Thanks mate. Since sold it to a friend and am now working on a shovelhead chopper project.

Thanks mate, my dream job would be to customise bikes for a living. At this stage it's just a hobby. Yeah man the rabbit ears had to go.
👏👏👏👍👍👍 good job. Greetings from Chicago.
Thank you 🙌
Love Sportsters. Thanks for un- ugly- fied The Beautiful Sportys.
Looks cool bro
Thanks mate 🙌
How did you extend the front break line? Im struggling to find an ABS line, with an extended lower section! Did you have to extend the ABS wire too?

@TheGingybeardMan nice one thank you
Hey brother where did you get the fork damper?
I bought them directly from tracker die but they're out of business now despite their website still being up. Just google trackerdie fork dampers and they may pop up with another business.
Hi friend! How many inches you long the fork? 4"?
@@joseagusti2635 it was three inches mate
We're u get the gas cap
I bought it from the Harley heaven website
Need to drop the seat height by moving the bottom of the shocks back a inch, would look better
I've just raised the bars an inch with some taller risers and the lines look so much better.
Anymore harley videos coming out soon
I'm just waiting on some parts to arrive for the ironhead sportster then I'll start vids on that build. The sporty 72 is finished now.
