Interesting story behind the bike, and the guy that built it (with a good woman behind him). Not my typical style of bike but I certainly appreciate the craftsmanship that went into it.

I love me a chop, also how humble this young man is and how frank he was about not knowing something so he learned it is refreshing. Cant wait to see what he does in the future because I think this is only the start for him.

I'm not a custom bike guy, but I dig this, especially after hearing about the story behind it. Also, the fact that the guy doesn't look anything like my preconception of custom bike builder just makes it even more appealing! 😁👍

Yeah, the typical bike builders one normally sees featured usually have one or more of the following traits: covered in tattoos, long hair and/or beard, speaks in stoner lingo, and generally not the kind of person many would want in their neighborhood.

My uncle Tommy was a roadie for the Allman brothers, and a biker. He was I.O.O.B and used to travel the country as a musician. Little Martha was his favorite song, we played it at his funeral. I play guitar but I don't perform, and I'm working on getting me a Harley

Its funny how the guys that cant help trashing anything HD, dont recognise that they're brothers from another mother of the guys that trash anything thats not HD.
Not a chopper guy by any means, but theres a ton of effort and thought in that bike, and he has every right to be proud of his creation.

Jessica is a euphoric, surreal piece of music that is unlike any other rock song you'll hear. It's a shame that the ABB's music has been all but forgotten, because they were America's only real answer to the great British bands of the day, and they do not get the credit they deserve. Listening to their greatest hits will always make me think of my dad. Beautiful bike, by the way.

I guess i used to say I wasn't much of a harley guy, but i suppose i just hadn't found a style that resonated with me as much as this era of sportster. They are iconic to me in terms of design when i think of my favorite styles of vintage motorcycles, maybe its just the 70s vibe.
That being said i dont think I'd mind a lil sportster project bike.

I don’t get all the hate, it always seems to be guys who aren’t into choppers or self builds who hate them the most.
I don’t get it, some super angry Ricers on their 20.000 Dollar 150 Hp Honda that’s realistically too fast for them and bought with daddy’s money, come in here flaming a guy who just has the passion to work on a motorcycle even if it’s a 4.000$ Shitbox. It‘s like hating someone for cooking and eating Asian Food because you don’t like the taste of it???
In my experience the Chopper community is the nicest and most helpful community ever because we all like to bond over objectively outdated, sketchy and mostly slow bikes, but we like it that way and are happy with some of the sketchiness.
At every Motorcycle meet I‘ve ever been to it‘s always the guys on Superbikes, naked bikes or Supermotos absolutely hating each other because they think their bikes are faster or more superior, even thou they didn’t put an ounce of their own work into the bike they defend that corporate made machine like they pushed it out of their wombs.
I stopped going because either it’s a Circlejerk or Hateville
I get having favorites but come on? Do you really need to hate others with such a passion because they drive a Harley or Indian and you drive a Honda??

1:03 is that a Kawasaki F7??? I had a 73 F7, and yeah that amphibious carb housing is such a pain. Made tuning the carb damn near impossible because they don't make the gasket for it anymore and I had to use gasket sealer everytime I accessed the carb. Would love to know if you found a way to mount the carb without that housing plate, I tried but couldn't ever figure it out.
