Hahaha my wife did the same. Thanks John, I've just purchased a set of tins off a 79 ironhead which in my opinion looks much better. I'll try and sell these parts with a bit of luck.
If you`re smart you won`t even start that bike without Loctite on the air cleaner bolts. Ironheads are notorious for vibrating bolts loose in a heartbeat & if one goes into the engine...bye bye!
All harley davidson engines are notorious for vibrating bolts loose. Yes loctite should be used. The bolts however won't loosen within seconds of starting the bike.
Yes, they are loose right now & running around laughing at you & about to get into your scones waiting for you to bite down! Ah HaHaHaHa!@@TheGingybeardMan
@@jaynedoe1959 if you watched the video you would have heard me say the bike is unregistered and I'm not riding it. Also stated the bolts will be loktited. There's always someone out there keen to criticise, be better man!
