This is Justin Wood. He won 100+ as well as the under 100kg brackets. Very solid judoka. He wins the 100+ and 100kg brackets.
THINGS I DID WELL:
Defended the ko soto gari at :15 seconds, hopped out of bounds and got a new start.
Nice snatch single leg at :31 seconds
THINGS I NEED TO IMPROVE:
We're BOTH super leaned back at :18 seconds. Good time for O soto, o uchi or any forward attack. Need to recognize these situations.
I FREAKING PROMISE, IF I LOOK AWAY, THE FEET WILL STILL BE THERE. QUIT LOOKING DOWN.
This isn't wrestling, why am I snatching a single leg? I didn't even mean to do that, it just happened. It was kind of funny because as soon as I grabbed it I said "Sorry!" and let it go.
I just noticed, he's fighting left, so I'm totally off my normal grips.
I got the underhook at 1:08. That should be an advantage for me. Don't know why I pulled it out.
I fight off his reach to my belt at 1:21, but let my hips go out. That gives him space to step in front. AGAIN WITH THE HIPS OUT!!!
