I like to imagine what's happening in Krushing blows/x-rays aren't what's literally happening to the opponent, rather it's showing what WOULD happen if someone did this IRL.
There are always new things in every Mortal Kombat MK1: Stage fatalities MK2: friendships, brutalities Mk3:Animalities and Babalities Mk Deception/Armageddon: Hara Kiris Mkx: Faction kills Mk11: Krushing blows Im expecting more things in MK12
About Krushing Blows: Krushing Blows are powerful with an uppercut or combos. Some of them could work if an opponent misses an attack or always activate in Practice Mode. Remember: It works only on Punish.
Not all of them are Punish. Johnny's Knee kick and then jump to kick with both feet KB works when the knee kick misses Johnny's $500 sunglasses KB has to be in a combo that includes a FB cancel. Scorpion's Super Man Fire Punch KB has to be in a combo of 8 or more Scorpion's spear KB has to be from Maximum Range and amplified. Not all KB are from Punishes
They were on another level with MK11. They should have just made fatal blows be a fatal finisher also. Kept krushing blows, abilties, etc. There was so much customization.
I've seeing a lot of MK11 content lately, considering to buy it on Switch. But now that i think of it; Deadpool would be an amazing character on Mortal Kombat.
Let’s all be happy that they at least brought back SOME of the Xray attacks in MK11. Just the same as we all adore from the previous two prequels. 🤷🏽♂️

If I made a tier list just for KBs I’d probably put Subzero, Fujin and Geras at the top, Shang Tsung definitely up there, middle tier would be like Noob, Liu Kang and Scorpion, and honestly probably Skarlet, Sonya and the Kahns at the bottom.
Jacqui is NOT surviving 2:06. It might look like it's just a broken nose, but look closely at how her face completely caves in 💀 Btw imagine a mod where the characters do keep fighting but with realistic injuries from these blows
