Fun fact: Reptile,Kano,Stryker and kintaro were the only ones who did three krushing blows during their x ray moves.
Call me crazy but I always thought these X-Rays looked a lot more brutal than the X-Rays from X or XI. Probably because they’re significantly more detailed, Idk

@@justice3007 also, the blood is better and more detailed in this game, and it’s brutal how the costumes get visually more damaged as you get hit more
@@Howlingburd19 mkx's x rays are way more the detailed. The reason I like the ones in this game the most is the fact that it's short (mostly hits twice), and not so over the top they lessen the impact of fatalities. The grayscale rendering helps too.

I miss these, short but still cool at the same time. Now in MK11 you have to wait 5 minutes for a special move you get every other round
Man you can't seriously compare this game to mk11, I played mk9 so much when in was like 13 but mk11 is of course better in everything, at least for me
I really hope they bring back the xrays in mk 12, yeah I know they technically still exist in mk11, but they feel so much more special in mkx and 9

the best part is that it didnt feel like any hits were random or unneeded for their combo and it never felt like they were holding back, unlike mkx. quan chi's was my favorite of em all it was brutal and creative

I actually liked these better than the ones in MKX. they were more straight to the point and didn't feel like some of them were more extreme than the fatalities. By MK11 I couldn't tell since fatal blows don't do the X-ray effect, so just went with "if a limb doesn't come off, it's not a finisher"

Kintaro is literally the most brutal one
So most of the X-rays do around 31-33% with the upper powered ones being 35-37% and the top ones being 39-41%
Not including bosses who do 52-56% damage with theirs.
