The Brutalities for me feel like the logical next step really, fatalities nowadays are no longer some sort of hidden secret we'd talk about with our friends and try to discover on our own by either just nagging people who know them,mashing random inputs or buying gaming magazines in hope they might have a section where they share the fatality list for the latest MK game, they're instead a thing that everyone and their grandmother can perform by just pausing the game and looking at the move list. They also do sorta kill the pace a bit, fun to watch each of em' for the first few times but after a couple of tens of matches it gets old since everyone does them all the time and you're reward with more koins and XP. Brutalaties on the other hand tend to come more natural, apart from the ones that have strict requirements and they're also fast and it feels far more rewarding and satisfying to pull them off , especially the more strict ones that have certain specific requirements.
I agree. i remember when Mk2 came out at JUST GAMES...my local arcade, i was watching a guy who at that time was one of the GREATEST mk1 and mk2 players. i kept telling him i dont know how to do milleenas fatality and he said to me I DONT CARE! LEARN HOW TO DO IT! those are the times where people wouldnt give out those type of secrets, which i thought made the GAME EVEN MORE BAD ASS!!! I wanted to learn fatalities, just like u said i would go to Blockbusters and check out the gaming magazine for all the cheats! good times😀
