I bought the Sonic Pad from the big online retailer for about $150, and added a cheap Logitech cam ($25). The total price was well worth it to me, for the ease of configuring and installing it to run with my old Creality 3 Pro with ABL. . It runs Klipper and I connect to it through my web interface. Very happy with this!
No pi no sonic pad only a 30 dollar net book or a tuchscreen on a small crome book and you get a keybord if you know klipper setup thats the best ... nice review :)

One thing you don't talk about is the ability to connect more than one printer to it. Are you running a sonic pad per machine you have?
Great review, does this Sonic Pad have the option to select a CR-30 Print Mill, there seems to be mixed info on this?
Walmart has the Sonic Pro and Creality web cam for $125 with free shipping.
