Up your arsenal content in 2023?? We love to see it
For the splitter rifle, speed runners use it to shoot down the biobliterator instead of the ship.
and in Any% they use it to kill nefarious
Words can't describe how much I love Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal! It's my favorite video game of all time!
Mine too, but I feel bad because other people pick games like Final Fantasy 6 or Bloodborne, serious stuff like that.
I thought everyone knew you could sweep the Shock Cannon beam? I learned that immediately as a kid. The more interesting part is that you can hit the same enemy multiple times if you sweep back and forth
I didn't find that out until others told me so, mainly for two reasons:
1) I'm always strafing when using the Shock Cannon
2) Despite the beam being OP, I never use it because I'm very conservative with ammo
Which makes it one of the most absolutely busted methods of doing boss DPS.
Pretty sure the helpdesk tip that comes up after getting the Shock Cannon eludes to this, but what's really crazy is if you like jitter the joystick back and forth you can hit the same target multiple times with the beam, making it viable against bosses as well
@@rainbow_vader it’s still not ideal vs bosses because of the ammo problem. You will usually need a second gun for that.
The Helpdesk Girl even tells you how to use it lol
I actually did know about the increased fire speed. Switching weapons after shooting and then switching back actually works in other games as well. I first discovered this playing Black on the PS2. Every kind of shotgun would be much more useful if you just switch weapons, and this was incredibly helpful in the hardest difficulties. Then I also got this on Devil May Cry 3, where the Shotgun would be rather useless unless you switch weapons to fire it again immediately. It was the easiest way to deal with Cerberus's ice armor
Alrighty so
1. Shooting the Gravity Bomb then the Ryno does not uncap the boss/enemies health value, it allows the Ryno to bypass invincibility frames
2. The last trick is called Sneepscoping found by the speedrunner Sneepy. It is refered to as the Rapid-Fire glitch now and it works with Gravity Bomb and the Bouncer aswell as other weapons and can be done in third person aswell.
*Nitro Launcher.
1:43 Aaah, the Shock Blaster is one of my favorite weapons in the series!
I learnt all those tricks (except for Splitter Rifle rapid fire) from speedrunners and, even though I've never used them in an actual playthrough (I like to play games the way devs intended me to play), I still have fun watching the community discover all those weird exploits
Random thing I discovered the other day, in the Nefarious fight after he runs away, all the enemies that spawn can be sucked up with the Suck Cannon, including the giant mechs.
Just when I thought I couldn't love the Suck Cannon more, it surprised me again.
Wait seriously??? I need to try thing that's hilarious
What???
Mate, what? LOL
That is why I love these games even more after discovering speedrunning community and all these cool tricks
I love the rhino in the 3rd installment when it's a maxed level it turns enemies into stone Medusa style.
I agree but I just hate that its inconsistent and does little damage on bosses
This saved me in my first playthrough, thanks
I'm glad I could help. Which strat did you use?
@@buninja5604 i used the bouncer on the end boss
Nice
I've played both the original and HD versions of UYA and I never knew that you can charge the Shock Cannon. 😮
Wellp, guess I gotta replay Up Your Arsenal again!
Great video :)
love seeing these kind of videos
I figured out the shock Cannon bit myself.
So many things to learn! My head is reeling😅😅😅😅
wow, never seen that shoot, throw wrench, shoot trick before😯
post more trips and tricks for the other games
I knew all but number four already from fucking around and finding out back in the day :D
Surprised to see that the Shock Cannon fact can be taken to be understood as lesser known; does no one listen to the Helpdesk Girl? She tells you how to use it when you upgrade the Shock Blaster to V5 :P Also I always thought that Suck Cannon thing was a feature lol
Every weapon in r&c uya is awesome, versatile and have diverse use. Only the suck cannon kinda suck, no pun intended, because it's basically useless without tiny enemies and even the tiny guys it sucks kinda slow. If it was like jetgun from black ops 2 zombies that sucks everything quickly and damage the big guys, I'd consider it on par with the rest of guns.
love that weapons facility soundtrack😎
w video
you can do it with ryno v5 if u muzzle stuff the boss with it
Wdym
@@buninja5604 the rockets that spin into the ball still do individual damage as they come out of the gun before they all collide together and make the screen flash. speed runners used to do it before they found better strategies
@@Badkarma912 ohh yeah you just have to be a lot close to him when doing it
How do you get the wrench that you can hit the ground and it breaks everything
It's at Zeldrin starport. Instead of taking the path to the left with quark go straight and it will lead to the box breaker
@buninjagaming5604 yea I found it thanks
chulps
What? 🤣
5 GAME BREAKING TIPS THAT ANYBODY WHO PLAYS THIS GAME WITH COMMON SENSE WILL DISCOVER RATHER QUICKLY (NOT CLICKBAIT)
played it almost constantly for 20 years and didn't know most of them
probably mostly because I get stuck in habits
mostly habits from 2
@@kay_faraday you havent, this is the most blatant lie ive ever read
@@Kurtis11266 20 is a mild exaggeration, i got 2 in 2005 and 3 shortly later, so probably 17-18 years
@@Kurtis11266homie I played UYA many times across the years starting from 2005-2006, only in 2019 I discovered lock-on mode shows you the health of the enemy. Players would never discover most of these weapon tricks by themselves, unless they went out of their way to look for them
People just want to have FUN😊
