My best is 60kg for 3 reps at 67.5kg bodyweight Edit: i could bicep curl gas cylinder (30kg) at around 65kg when i was 16 years old) on my right biceps
That's monstruous. Never handled more than 50kg for reps (at that weight) and with questionable form; but my biceps were always my weakest point(s) Kudos, man!
There are only a FEW people in the world who can do that. If you are telling the truth wow. That is insane. I can do one rep 65kg at 81kg bw and I thought I was strong
I don't curl much over 50kg for reps as I'm afraid of a bicep tear eventually. I do negatives a lot, but I'm doing 15-20 reps at 45kg. I'm not going to push it. I've seen guys tear a bicep and be done weightlifting for several weeks and start all over again
That’s fair enough mate. Tbh I haven’t bicep curled this sort of weight in ages. I know what you mean about injuries, it’s always good to be aware of these things, because a bicep tear would be horrible!
@@ThatGuy-gd1vf As a powerlifter, I can guarentee that if you pull the slack with ur bicep facing arm, you wouldn't be giving much room for a bicep tear when using alternative grip. Hook is still better if you get used to the pain but.
This is very strong, since everyone is commenting about themselves, let me join 🤣. I could do 40kg at 65kg bw with relatively strict form on the bench for 8 reps.
I'm 9 weeks into training and I can curl 15kg each arm max. Only tested it for 1 rep though, but I'll see if I can do 3 reps tomorrow on my back day. This isn't strict form: you're using your hips and back to swing the bar up. If you want to gauge your true lift, try curling with your back and buttocks against a wall, as here: ruclips.net/video/PKo9uhdAx-I/видео.htmlsi=AANNZ6E9eeGVh5-A
