The technique of the pedal and the snare are typical of Grossman, the position as it sits is of Grossman, Marco has a different position in the battery and is more economical with the beat of the roll (You can watch grossmann videos with necrophagist and you will notice); Dream Theater is very good music, and of course Grossman knows, Mike Portnoy is a big
influence for Grossman (even for thousands of drummers) that explains Grossman's shirt.

So Marco plays for necrophagist for one tour, then instantly gets more credit for being "necrophagists drummer" than anyone despite the fact the only guy that ever tracked drums for necrophagist was Hannes. Not to mention that marco was the worst fit for necrophagist of any other drummer they have used

Actually Hannes did not record the drums for Epitaph, according to wikipedia Christoph Brandes recorded drums and some vocals for the album, who is the engineer for the drums at his studio in Germany
