This is an important film. Ryan, I feel you finally got the material you needed to give the true measure of your talent. You came up with a film that is deeply personal yet accessible. And, as always, without compromise. Manu, you found the right person to tell your story in Ryan. And it's so important that you did. I feel like this film is a perfect match between a story and a storyteller.
Got no words Sofiane. This comment is so strong a compliment that it leaves me more humbled than proud, more grateful than satisfied. Thanks for that and how you advocate strongly for our film, this means a lot to both Manu and I.
Sofiane, I couldn't describe it any better. I knew Ryan was going to be the best match possible out there from the very beginning but I can only be so lucky that it just worked out between us the way it did, I mean what are the chances I would tell something like this to someone I never even met before in real life ( we did have about a 1000hrs of videocalls and sent a zillion messages 😅) but yeah Ryan has this gift of being a great listener and the insight of putting this massive puzzle together. So greatfull for your words 🙏
Manu, you are tremendously inspiring. The film is a gorgeous work of art & storytelling. As painful as parts were, it filled me with an overwhelming sense of positivity. And thank to Tailfin for supporting this level of content.
A story beautifully told. Someone once said to me whenever I see somebody running or riding a long way I always wonder what they are escaping from...I saw a ten year old on a horse riding beside a 10 year old on a MTB enjoying life as kids should. Best of luck with your future endeavours Manu & Ryan.
Love this! Much more than just a movie. I can totally relate to it: for me cycling has always been more than just riding a bike. It has been a way to escape the shit, calm down and having fun while doing so. ❤
Sponsors and brand supporters, take note. The essence of this film and the courageous honesty of Manu are true representations of what it means to be badass. Well done to the entire team. Thank you for putting this film and yourselves out into the world. Cheers to healing and peace.
Thanks a thousand times for your comment and caption on this. I couldn't be more lucky to be working together with brands that don't only support me with gear but also in this very personal project, and I do think it took some guts from them as well to stand behind this as brands without knowing the outcome and how people would react to this. So greatfull ♥️
Quite unexpected turn of events. But your emotional courage and strength is even bigger than your physical courage and strength. Get well. And thanks for sharing.
Definitely not the usual inspiring film we are used to watch, but the best one so far, thanks for sharing your story. Hope to see you finishing the Silk Road in the years to come!
A powerful story beautifully told. It's amazing what being out on a bike can do for people! I love how it helps clear my head of noise, but that it allowed you to " ... give everything that happened in the past a place in my mind." Wow!
Beautiful, artist compilation. Wonderfully created, brilliantly completed. Manu you are amazing. Thank you for sharing your very important story, and for being willing to make yourself vulnerable to help others! Ryan - thank you for your work to create this. Well done!
Dear Manu, never seen this kind of content on the crossover of publicity and honest storytelling. The last being the most bravest I ever encountered on the net and puts all other publicity storytelling look pale and kind of hollow from now on for me. Best regards and I encountered tracklogging on the orange logo app again which is a relief to see you back in action.
I wish that some people in need of hope will find this to help them on their path to heal. Glad you found yours. Inspirational share on inspirational images. Thanks
Your wish is shared by both of us. We had hesitations whether the film would have any useful aspect or if it would just come as over sharing so we are deeply honoured when people react like you do.
This means a lot, I have received many very personal message of people that found some hope and energy in this story, it's all I could wish for to happen with this project. Take care
What a beautiful why to share such a personal story and experience. Thanks Ryan for your art and Manu for opening up! Hope your recovery goes well and we can soon see you again on the tracks!
Speechless. Need time to land after watching it. Ryan and you met for a reason and both deserve each other . Hoping your knee feel better Manu . See you on the road . Vincent SZUSTA
Hi Vincent, I hope you have landed by now ☺️ we honestly never met before, but we had a really good connection from the beginning which really was one of the reasons it came this far, and I'm really greatfull it did 🙏 Thanks
Chapeau! Amazing film. Thank you Manu for sharing such a part of your life! Thank you Ryan, Tailfin and everyone behind for believing in a different kind of film
Humbled by these words ❤ couldn't have done it without the support from these amazing guys so I'm really greatfull as well they did believe in it. Cheers
Outstanding film. I am in awe of what I've just watched. Thank you Manu for having the courage to share, and thank you everyone involved for telling this story so well ❤️🩹
My respect for this film and sharing your story! I'm looking forward to my first ultra race and this film kind of helped me the most "understanding" ultracycling - even though it's not about gear, nutrition or whatsoever. Thanks!
It's like doing a long marathon every day. It will be fun! But always remember that you ride in remote areas. You can't make any risky decisions. Just one little mistake can lead to a fatal error.
Thanks for your input! I guess riding slow but steady is key, but "difficult" to stick to as one may get overwhelmed. Will keep your words in mind, when I go too fast :-)
Thanks for your opinion, I know it's a fine line between revealing something about the film without telling all of it. Glad you didn't regret watching. Cheers!!
Wow! I also highly recommend the Momentum movie Ryan did for Kona bikes. Please keep doing those fantastic films!!! Maybe about Sofiane at some point? 😊
Hii ,, Iam Mahesh from India. My dream is to Explore the world adventurously and i decided to explore the world by cycling and iam going to start my journey in this September 2024,,any advice please 😒😒 Note: Ignore my english (grammar)😊
Wow! Sounds great Mahesh, I do quite s bit of touring myself, my main advice would be : take it easy, don’t ride too long too soon, stay hydrated and everything will be fine! Like Manu says in the film, you will be amazed how good people are when you are on the road and they will often sort you out when you need! Have a blast!
Hi Mahesh, sounds like you are going to have some fun this year. There's a lot of advice to give but in the end everyone is different, other goals, other needs, so my advice is to just head out with some descend equipment (that does a lot) and other than that it's just you, the road and a whole bunch of great people you will meet along the way. You made the most important decision already...And that's starting this journey, the rest will follow ✊

Hey man, my two cents, as I did a few, slow is fast but immobile is very very slow, go slow, don’t stop, eat, sleep and drink. You will be fine!
Thanks for your input! I guess riding slow but steady is key, but "difficult" to stick to as one may get overwhelmed. Will keep your words in mind, when I go too fast :-)
Impressive 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
wow! I hope you get better soon. thank you for sharing this.
My pleasure, most of all thank YOU for watching 🙏
@@manucattrysse well, watching is relatively easy.. ;-)
