For mine I just use sirloin ,(with most of the fat removed), cut thin and cooked rare to med-rare, WITH the veggies. I think it's more in the seasoning than the meat.
Happy Father’s Day from Raymond, Wisconsin. I love fajitas and yours look great. I usually use flank and have the butcher run it through a tenderizer a few times if they have one. Flank steak has gone up in price so I will look for Denver steak.
This looks excellent. Although in south Louisiana the heat index is getting to 115° everyday so my Blackstone is closed unless we get a hurricane. It'll move back to the forefront when weather cools down some. I've never seen the Denver steaks. I'll have to keep and eye out.
Looks so good Matthew. I usually by Sirloin steak for our fajitas. Cheap steak with the right marinade and time tastes as good as the high dollar steak! Sometimes I even use Venison! Thank you
Hey, cant wait till your steak seasoning comes out 😊. The Crazy Pop did the same thing...he made some steak fajitas also, but he didnt use your seasoning. He used Blackstones Essentials Blend. Either or, they both looked awesome. GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
I've been wanting to make this but my skills in cooking steak are still on a novice level. 3 steaks I've made at home have been good but it feels like it's missing something. I'm gonna utilize regular limes instead of concentrated lime juice. I really wish I knew your seasonings secret because I feel like I'm either not using enough or adding too much. I will follow this recipe as is and dive into the seasonings game. Lol thank you sir. Looks delicious 😋
Where in NC do you live? I'm in Salisbury... Never thought of using Denver steaks..they are not good on their own, but may be good for slicing up for fajitas..
Great videos Hussey. My wife gets surprised how great your recipes taste when I cook them on the Blackstone. My wife can only have just a little bit because she's a diabetic. Just a suggestion, maybe make a miniseries of diabetic meals done on the Blackstone griddle. I think you would do a wonderful job at that. I believe it would be helpful to many people who are diabetics. Keep up the great work thanks again
If your wife has type 2 diabetes she can cure it through fasting. She needs to abstain from sugary foods, deep fried foods, junk foods, alcohol. Eat natural foods but only eat it one meal a day and drink water throughout the day.
look like perfection hussey, i seen the denver steak on other channels asked my butcher in the small town down the road didnt no what i was talking about lol
My favorite fajita steak is the flat iron. It's a little more pricey than flank, but just super tender and delicious. You can save a little more if you buy the whole thing and cut out the midle tendon yourself.
I think that first fajita was a strategic mistake. So you HAD TO have another one... 🤣🤣 The groceries looked delicious, Huss. I just saw that Denver steak at the butcher for the first time about a week ago. If it's cheaper than skirt or flank, then I'm all for it!! Beef has gotten crazy expensive. Hope you have a great Father's Day, buddy!
I just happened across your channel and I'm glad I did. My wife recently passed and I moved into a condo that doesn't allow gas appliances. I'm interested in a Blackstone griddle but will have to settle for an electric model. Would you recommend the 8001, the 8001C or another model? Any input would be appreciated.
I chicken sometimes when I make fajitas to save money (I have a large family). I'll have to check out that Denver steak. Thanks for the heads up Hussey! Happy Father's Day!
Hey Hussey next time you make some crack stir fry substitute vinegar Tinton red cooking wine. I discovered this is what the Asain restaurants use in place of white wine vinegar 😋
Love your videos, and I've learned a lot. I'm having only one problem. When I cook on the flat top like this weekend, I cooked everything you can think of and no problems, BUT why do my potatoes stick like crazy. Nothing else sticks, just potatoes. Can you help 😮😢
If you could send me an email or PM on IG or FB. Interested in knowing what kind of potatoes or dish your trying to cook. I'm thinking you may not be adding enough oil and getting the oil hot enough.
going to have to cook this some time. cooked veggies on the blackstone yesterday for fathers day. everyone loved them. need to use my blackstone. thanks for all the videos.
Matthew... First off love your videos, but It seems I'm always watching them at two in the morning. Now I'm wanting me some fajitas. May just have to break out some of the CostCo New York Strip steak they have sliced real thin that is in my freezer tomorrow.
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Mr Hussey!! 🐻🌄🏞️
Dang it boy! That looks killer. Happy fathers day
Although I’ve watched lots of griddle videos I’ve only had my griddle for two weeks. Looks like this will make the list of things to try 👍🔥🇨🇦
Looks delicious, Happy Father’s Day 🌴👍👍😎🌴
HAPPY Father’s Day!! I use outside skirt steak!! Or flank
Denver cut looks like a great choice! I'll have to give it a try👍😊
Yes I’ve used Denver cut before. It’s makes a good fajitas. Happy Fathers Day
GOOD GROCERIES MATT 👍. Those steak fajitas look very delicious. Great recipe and cook.
For mine I just use sirloin ,(with most of the fat removed), cut thin and cooked rare to med-rare, WITH the veggies. I think it's more in the seasoning than the meat.

Your the BOSS!!! Everything you make is AWESOME.
Thanks so much bud!
Oh-Oh Yeaahaahhaa!!! You the Man!! And the father!! Happy Father’s Day and dang it boy!!!
Thank you for this recipe. Looks delicious.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What's a good rule of thumb for how much steak to prepare for fajitas?
I go by servings and for adults, I go with 4-6 oz per person is a good rule of thumb.
Looks good! Happy Father’s Day. I’ve used NY strip and Kansas City strip steaks. I can’t wait to try this recipe next weekend.😊
Looks delicious, will be supper tonight. I prefer these video's over the short! When I see it is a short, i close it.
I totally understand! They say people want short content, so I just roll with it. Those are mostly cut downs of my old content.
I've been watching all of your videos before I griddle. Thanks for the content
Thanks for watching my friend!

Much love my brother, keep doing what you do so I can keep learning and cooking for my family!
Inside or outside skirt steak best for fajita My preference it's sirloin fajita that's what we have available down here in Mercedes, TX
I usually use a reverse seared flank steak on the Weber kettle with a little mesquite smoke. I have also used flap steak and outside skirt
Flap meat is actually what's traditional with carne asada. It's really good stuff.
Happy Father's day!! Got my griddle fired up today for Carne asada tacos!!

Get in there my friend! You'll make some mistakes but you'll learn too! Enjoy the journey!
Where in NC do you live? I'm in Salisbury... Never thought of using Denver steaks..they are not good on their own, but may be good for slicing up for fajitas..
Man I'm not far from you brother! I'm up 85 in Trinity.

Denver steaks are basically Boneless short ribs cut from Chuck primal.
The Denver steak is also known as the Butchers steak. you can check out the Beardered Butchers on RUclips they did a video on this cut.
Isn't hanger steak the butchers cut?
One day I hope to have that Big Baller Hussey kinda money so I can afford the pre-chopped vegetables.
Become a flat top tycoon and the world is yours
Pre-chopped veggies. Lol. You funny.
Looking good sir happy Father’s Day to ya love your videos and personality always top notch!
Looking at a pile of steak it is easy to forget the vegies. With or without I know that was out of the park good!
Happy Father's Day!

I like flat iron but hate removing that tendon. No one cuts it out here.
Porter Road has had those Denver steaks for quite some time. Check them out, dry aged and really good.

Sorry for your loss friend. I cannot really speak to the E series. I have never gotten one to be honest.
I chicken sometimes when I make fajitas to save money (I have a large family). I'll have to check out that Denver steak. Thanks for the heads up Hussey! Happy Father's Day!
I meant I "use" chicken.....
Those where limes! Lol
You just made up my mind for tonight it’s fajitas on the blackstone.with fresh bell peppers from the garden.
I hear that my friend!
You knocked it out the park again with this. No issues with the pre-cut veggies. Time saving is worth it some nights!!
Thanks my friend!

Thanks for watching!
Looks delish Hussey! The new spice looks killer! Don't forget your veggies!! LOL - C
Lawd... I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on Chris!
My favorite is the wagyu sirloin cut fajita style
Nice! Nothing wrong with that!
Denver steak has been served in dinners and restaurants as an inexpensive breakfast protine. The Carolinas are a tad behind Hussey
New seasoning teaser! Tasty fajitas! Thank you Hussy.
==========================================
Dang it! Now i'm hungry!
Hey man, I haven’t never used Denver steak before
What a fun video. Denver steak is definitely a great way to go. My local butcher carries them quite frequently.
I'll start getting them more often!
Looks delicious... I've never heard of Denver steak either.. will have to check in to it....👍👍
Happy Sunday my friend happy's Father's Day Neighbor
I need to heat up my paper cutter and get to grilling. It looks great.
Them veggies would slice well with your paper cutter!!!!! 😂
Yo Hussey, brother your vids are the bomb💣💣! New sub and my flat top is finally screaming with some of your recipes! Thanks man!
Thanks pal! Appreciate the support!
Those look delicious!! What is the purpose of cutting against the grain? Always enjoy your content!!
I love steaks and your videos
Matthew... First off love your videos, but It seems I'm always watching them at two in the morning. Now I'm wanting me some fajitas. May just have to break out some of the CostCo New York Strip steak they have sliced real thin that is in my freezer tomorrow.
Thank you Charles! That strip will work well!
I will be doing this soon
Hey Matt, every time you cook I get hungry! Good groceries buddy!
Hey there! Thanks so much! I think that means I did my job. Lol.
