Disney's got too much chaos going on to even realize how far back they are getting in the race when you chase away a large portion of your best imagineers and they go to the competition what do you expect Disney is paying for the best talent right now .

The Ministry of Magic area was supposed to have 2 rides but one of them got cancelled which just leaves an open plot for future expansion. The VR one was the one that got cancelled. Rumor has it that the ride is going to be an elevator and/or something similar to the Spider-Man/transformer rides

This all sound great but remember the how clean is the parks and surroundings, weather, price, and how long will the lines, and time it takes to wait for each of them

    - Disney won't be bothered, their key demographic is different enough imo to really be battling. They will be fine. Guardians is a succes which a lot of people seem to expect.
    - The main thing I see with Epic universe is that the US is finally catching up with Europe when it comes to immersive theming

I really hope the how to train your dragon ride is as good as hagrids, as it uses a similar ride system. Would be the second best ride at the park for me next to starfall racers.

It looks pretty good. I think the spinning coaster will be a sleeper hit too.

I agree with most of you’re points, can’t wait for epic! But what I definitely don’t is a new Disney park! Disney has to fix what they already have , with they’re “blue sky” plans. Firstly Magic Kingdom needs serious help. Compared to Disneyland Magic Kingdom it’s very lacking in variety of rides.. animal kingdom with totally redoing Dino land area to name a few…

That is a very good point. They really need to fix what they have before expanding. Thanks for the comment!

I wouldn’t call 3 dark rides a lot of dark rides for a theme park.

First off great name if I may say so myself. Now to the point you have a valid one, It really doesn't sound like much. Now let us visit BGT only 1.5 hours (105 Miles) away. My home park currently has 0 dark rides. At max in my lifetime we have had 1 open at a time and it was a 4D show or motion simulator not a true dark ride. Even down the road at SWO they currently have no dark rides. TBH I could take them or leave them but in the hot Florida Summer a dark ride is great. It is air conditioned and it is very popular with GP so it means less lines at other top coasters/rides. It really balances a park out and helps overall capacity.

This clearly ups Universal’s game amazingly, but people right now are underestimating Disney at their own peril. It is a global juggernaut.

Disney's MK was the only park in Orlando to beat Islands of Adventure in attendance, something unthinkable a few years ago. Worse, Disney has so much money tied up in Disney+ (losing billions) it hampers them from money for the parks
