I have carried my WC320 grip for a few months as I use my X-Carry as my EDC. I've since gone back to the stock X-Carry grip. Texture on the WC grip is absolutely superior, however it is very, very narrow, and doesn't fit my medium-large hands well, and the ergonomic sculpting is just a bit better on the X-Carry grip, though I get that they were going for a more 1911 feel. Additionally, the way that the front of the rail is angled inward gives the Inforce APLC light that I use very little to grab onto, and will wiggle unless I overtighten it to the point that the rail on the light bulges inwards.
If that Icarus grip came with removable grip panels like the PPQ SF does, purely for style points, I'd swoop one up in a heartbeat.

I prefer the slight rounded profile over the 1911 style. The wider rear "beaver tail" spreads the recoil out in the grip but for 9x19mm the change is not a big deal. I would like a OD or green shade with a FDE style upper(slide).

I love the look of the Icarus precision grip and like the idea of an aluminum grip frame, but as you stated $370 is a lot of money for a grip module. Especially when you can get the others for under $75. Hopefully other companies can challenge them and force them to drop their prices a little in the future. The whole “it cost more because it has more quality or detail” is oversold somewhat. We learned that wasn’t completely true when HK dropped their prices basically down to glock prices a couple of years ago on the p30’s, p2000’s, and hk45’s. Those were thousand dollar pistols at one time because of the quality and attention to detail.

    • @1776orbust

I love the icuras precision because it's all metal but if your asking me what feels best its definitely the wilson combat followed closely by the x compact. If the Wilson combat was all metal there would be no competition but since I'm more of a guy that would prefer a tool that will with stand time and torture icuras precision is probaly in the lead. My sig is all metal barrel to base pad compact or full. If your gonna get an upgrade the gas pedal is a must have for the p320 over all upgrades besides maby an optic. P.s I got my icuras precision grip on sale with coupon for 160$ after shipping. I guess I got extremely lucky I waited before purchasing icuras precision. Although the new icuras precision competition module looks like it might be the best of the best

  • @mikeO31082

Looking at the p320 as a first purchase and looking at various upgrades.
Would go for the Icarus grip... if it was a full steel frame. My understand is aluminum, as a building material, is prone to failure under high heat and stress. I would not trust the durability on the Icarus grip.
Would probably go for Wilson combat grip instead.

I personally love the X grip modules. I don't think the ergonomics can be any better. I would rather spend the money on a stipling job or grip mod rather than spend that kind of money just for an aluminum gun. Or, buy a CZ. The reason I buy polymer striker fired handguns is for the polymer. I like the weight and the fact that they can have work done to them if you want to customize.

I have a p320 Fullsize and I'm hesitant about changing my grip mod because I'm not sure what kinds would work with it. I'm also looking for the black color for it. Aside from my coyote tan color it has

I changed my grip module on a full size I purchased recently from what I assume is a medium (standard, I think. Bought it used) to a sig small. Big change in comfort for me. Check out midway USA.

I have a p320c, do I have to change the fcu (by drilling it) or will it work right away?

How is the magazine compatibility between grip modules? Are p320 magazine fitments similar to glock 17,19,26 compatibility?

Some older 320 mags don't work because of baseplate difference or so I've been told currently my carry mags fit in my x compact

1776 or Bust thanks for replying. I’m aiming to get a p320 soon and the info is helpful.

      - The X-Series Grip Modules will not work with magazines that have "SIG SAUER" on the baseplate. They are compatible with the baseplates that have the SIG Mark on it.

1.30 minutes in when you start talking about the X model grip. What size is the grip that comes on gun from the factory? Medium or small?

Any idea what after market grip modules will work in the mck sig?

    • @bradskeyt5444
      @bradskeyt5444 3 года назад

I have a polymer 80 grip and I love it but does not work in the mck. Another thing I don't like about the polymer 80 grip is the mags are kinda tight and you have to pull out the mag instead of it naturally falling out.

Do the wc modules scuff like the OEM? I hate the scuffyness. Sold my p320 compact cuz of it.

Is the Wilson Combat grip closer in size to the original small or medium?

Small forsure. Very slim. I actually like to use the wc 17 round over my x compact 15 round just because the wc is slimmer.

    • @turnitdowntyler

My P250 does not fit in my Wilson Combat compact grip module. It does not sit far enough to the rear and ultimately prevents the slide from being attached.
