I call it my annual hibernation period. It's a part of 'Sads' a real seasonal disorder due to low sunshine (and it gets low in the UK!!) I have daylight bulbs in my lights now, but it still gets tiring waiting for spring!

Thanks so much Bri! I also struggle this time of year so have been making myself go outside when the sun is shining and prune my fruit trees, transplant some berry bushes, etc. Not a lot, just enough to get up and out and feel productive. You find your groove and I'll happily enjoy whatever videos you put out when you feel like making them. Sending love and blessings your way!

I was just checking to see if you made a video recently and here you are. Thank you for the heads up. The great thing about vlogs is you just let life happen. There doesn't need to be a how to, or subject or whatever. You be you.

I just found you today and loved your video, your content. Have been viewing them for some hours now. I hope I had such a beautifull garden. You do so much. You are inspiring. I want and have a little garden but I do have land.
You do alot with all your family and kids.
It's April 1 and I want to plant, need prepare the land. I saw your land is compact in ways and you added compost to be able to plant. My land looks like yours. I would like to know how to prepare it.
I am a 65 year old grandma living alone so I do not have any helpers. So need to know how to approach it little by little to be able to maximize the land and sow time .
Thank you for all your inspiration.
God bless you and your family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I just bought the white adjustable shelving you showed in the last video and I am so happy with the way you can make the shelves fit your needs. All small appliances are now organized beautifully, THANKS. I have seasonal affective disorder it can make you sluggish and slow I did not believe it was real at first. It is, try the lights made for this it actually helps. I lived in Florida 3 years and guess what, no February March downs. It is the lack of sun. Even chickens do poorly laying during winter darkness. Maybe we are chickens🤣. See you soon.

Many people want to label down time as some type of problem. Nature has always given us a normal cycle of resting time to rejuvenate. That is an important part of most living things in the cycle of life. Embrace it , it's who we all are . Spring is coming and the normal uptick in our energy will follow. ❤

this recipe might be fun for your kids to help make: CROCK POT CARAMELIZED ONIONS
INGREDIENTS I usually double this so I can have caramelized onion for other things
    3lbs sliced onions
1⁄2 cup melted margarine (or butter)
    1 teaspoon salt
    DIRECTIONS
Combine onions, margarine and salt in a crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. I usually do this over night to use the next day or so. I usually double or Trible this recipe and slow cook it overnight so I will have it the next day.
    MAIN DISH
    PHILLY BUGERS with Caramelized onions
Serves: 4 Prep time: 20-30 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes
    Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, divided 4 Kaiser Rolls
    4 teaspoons Dijon Mustard, divided
1 cup caramelized onions Onions, divided
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese
2 cup shredded cheese of your choice
    1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    Directions
Combine ground beef, 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 3 teaspoons mustard and half of the caramelized onions.
Form into 4 patties and broil or grill to desire doneness.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, blend cream cheese, shredded cheese, remaining Worcestershire sauce
    and mustard, mushrooms and parsley.
Spread the cheese mixture on cooked patties, top with reserved onions.
Broil or grill 30 seconds more or until the onion are golden.
    Serve on Kaiser rolls

As a viewer, I think sometimes *established* creators " over think" what their viewers "want." Often I subscribed just because #1 we "seem" to have a few things in " common." #2 you make me laugh #3 I learn things from you, often they are simple reminders. #4 we don't watch much tv, so I often sub to relaxing/grounded subjects. ❤Just be YOU, and when you post, we will watch. As for analyzing YT has not been consistent even for subscribers....so I am not sure how much energy I would put into those numbers....every day I look into my saved video categories ( bread for example) and I see hidden videos have been removed and I am like WHY YT?! Its JUST BREAD! Leave it ALONE ! Lol!

Bri, I TOTALLY understand how you feel in Jan and Feb. I live in Wisconsin and I hate winter. If I could move, I would. Anyhow, January is the hardest month for me...February too. Up hear we hardy ever have the sun and it very cold. So, I am very lazy those 2 months. But, that is ok too. Winters are very hard for me to get through. I don't go outside unless I have too because of the cold. I understand what you're saying, Bri. Have a beautiful week. Love you, Art and family. ❤

Native Americans prepared in advance for February and some of March because they were rest months while the earth slept and took a break. So it makes sense that we rest and take a time for ourself

Hi! It’s been two more weeks. Any plans for a new video of you and the kids at home? Would love it. God bless!

Get some full-spectrum light bulbs, also fluorescent ones. Might help. (It helps with Seasonal Affective Disorder SAD)

Getting into a winter funk is pretty normal. Life is a journey of travelling through seasons. Seasons change. 🙂☀🌳

I like to hear from you, Bri, about things on your heart and mind and to see you guys work and play together. I also like to see when you have friends over.
