    Two things.
    1. Wouldn't this be awesome with a laptop type MXM gpu? Perhaps in the future.
    2. It has both msata and sata, does this mean one can fit both a 2.5inch drive and a msata ssd?

  • @TheWolfHowling

    That would be the nuts if you wanted like a little HTPC for streaming media and watching video files. Plus, as it's a full computer rather than just a set top box like a Roku, you could also use it for things like powerpoint presentations and the like.

    Love the ending song and that is why I bought it on iTunes :)
    As for the product here it would be much more interesting if it had a more powerful video card in it and cost a bit less but still when you look up this and other similar products they run games pretty well so if someone really wants a pc that is really small and easily portable to bring with them on trips but don't want to play on a laptop at the hotel or a friend's place they are staying at well this might be the ticket. Hook it up to the tv or monitor wherever you are and get to gaming.

    • @dboydev

      probly 60c to 75c at load. my stock cooler which has a smaller heatsink runs at that temp.

    • @PessOmist
      @PessOmist 10 лет назад +1

      dboydev I got some cooler master Evo, about $30, and I have the stock fan blowing away as well as a 2000rpm fan blowing on the heat sink and the temp is around 32C. Also have top fan and rear fan all blowing 2000rpm. Keeps it so cool.

    I was really interested but to get the setup I want It would come out at around £800.. It's a lot of money to be confined to a desktop, add a monitor for about 200. I'd get a comparable spec laptop for 200 more and not be confined. Shame about the price because I really like the idea. If it was £200 less I'd go for it.

    Let's get really realistic! Understanding the use of the "Display Port"... The VESA DisplayPort 1.2 will pump out a resolution of up to 3840 by 2160 pixels at a refresh rate of 60Hz, and it supports all common 3D video formats. DisplayPort cables can also carry multichannel digital audio. On the other hand, DisplayPort can’t carry ethernet data, and the standard doesn’t have an audio return channel and is due for a update, but for now, using the DisplayPort at 2K or 1080P, will work better for any Video Game! A single DisplayPort interface can support up to four monitors at 1920-by-1200-pixel resolution each, or two monitors at 2560-by-1600-pixel resolution, with each display receiving independent audio and video streams. And since some GPUs can support multiple DisplayPort interfaces, you can daisy-chain compatible monitors to connect as many as six displays to one source. More complex Games come to life using the DisplayPort because the best High Speed HDMI Cable: Provides more bandwidth, and can carry video with a resolution of 1080p or higher (up to 4096 by 2160, but at a maximum refresh rate of just 24Hz, which is fine for movies, but terrible for games). This type of cable can also handle 3D video, so use it when possible to play all of your favorite games until they update the DisplayPort and stick with that for your games! I believe the DisplayPort Hardware can be updated with a BIOS update and a up to date cable, the standard has been 1.2 for ever now and the new cable will be 1.3 or 2.0! HDMI can handle a single video stream and a single audio stream, so it can drive only one display at a time. That’s fine if you use a single monitor or a TV, but many people use more than one display these days. These use cases aren’t limited to stockbrokers keeping one eye on a ticker and the other on news headlines, either. Many gamers use two or more monitors simultaneously. And once you become accustomed to having multiple screens on your desk, you won't want to go back. Hope is not lost!

    for this kind of thing i'd rather have an AMD A10 something or other to have that bit more graphics performance at the cost of cpu performance. i personally wouldn't get close to using all that cpu power without a gpu along side it anyway. the intel integrated graphics aren't all that amazing.

    • @valkhii
      @valkhii 10 лет назад

      Of course, the new Intel integrated GPU's are not bad at all. Depends on what resolution you want to play on though. I have an older generation CPU in my laptop. i5 with Intel 3000 and I can play WoW and Trine quite nicely. I would imagine that the Intel 4000 is even better. For Elder Scrolls Online, they suggest it as the minimum option so it is definitely gaming capable. This means you can forget about that Integrated Intel GPUs are the shits. Depending on your needs, they might be enough for someone who enjoy these not so demanding games and doesn't worry about playing on lower Graphics settings.

      ***** Tulajdonképpen igazad van. Bár én keményebb játékokkal is játszok, a legtöbbet ez a doboz is tudná kezelni ha a fejlesztők minden magot kihasználnának pl. Az én mostani gépemben egy öreg Core2Quad Q6600 van és bár az összes mai játék szaggat mint a kurva élet, 2 mag teljesen szabad. Manapság az órajel számít. Egy 8 magos Xeonnal pl nem tudsz AC4-et játszani, de egy 3.2 ghz Pentium Dual Core nyugodtan viszi.
