I’ve seen dual binding before, I never try it because I don’t think the developers intended weapons to be alternated between each other like that and I suspect it might get “fixed” in the future. I don’t wanna be disappointed when dual binding gets removed, so I don’t rely on it.

I tried coming back to the game, but it allways ended with playing few games and tossing the game away again. So I came back to a fresh save to really put some time into it this time and well... I do not won't to spoil myself too much, so I am not watching or reading too much about the game, but some guides on the basics and more advanced stuff are nice to find out and this particular video just blew my mind. I never really though about something like this and did not see or notice someone playing it or mentioning. I must say it's kinda insane idea and I just felt like I need to leave a comment on it. Great work. Really like your tips so far. Going for cursed chest to build self confidence, learning to parry, remembering to take my time. Some simple things that I had in the back of my mind, but just needed someone else to point them out, so I could really start paying attention to them and make them beneficial. And it goes further as I am learning things I did not even think about like wall running with weapon attacks or this dual binding. Thank you. The only thing I have in mind that bothers me is when to actually dual bind and when play "normally". I have allways the same problem with parry. When it is better to parry and when to roll? I think that it might apply to several things as we sometimes have more than one possibility to perform an action with desired result. Like when I want to not get hit, so I can parry, roll, sometimes jump or just run away. I guess that for some things it just comes naturally what is a better choice when you just play the game and gain experience.

Looks like it was removed. I tried on the xbox version on the latest update and it doesn't let me. If I change secondary to match primary it just alternates my primary button to my secondary.
The concept of 1 button builds exists for about two years now, c'mon. There are many of these builds, for example: ice shards, shrapnel axes, wolf trap and oil grenade
yes. all crossbows work with it; heavy cross speeds up reload. it doesn't work with all combinations tho. sometimes the game bugs out as you saw with the symmetrical lance
I quad bind shards, seismic, wolf trap (with oil) and giant whistle/crusher/death orb. With Heart of ice you will continually refresh your skills. You'll basically spam a wolf trap and a giant fist every enemy at high levels. Its ridiculous.

Actually you can do it on mobile Iyou just need to make one slot of a weapon bigger and put ir diagonal to the other one so when you tap in the space between them you are touching both weapons at the same time

hey can you please explain to me whether it is worth using legändere equipment, I know that they are colorless, the re-roll costs are cheaper and that you have a starred affix. But these weapons do less damage
Hey, I started this game last week, and play it on mobile with a controller. You can Dualbind there... And I, and probably others, can only play it on mobile, because we don't have a computer...
Tbh I'm not a huge fan of this tactic because in my opinion it ruins the game by making it to easy and for me, this isn't the point of dead cells. But this is only my opinion the main thing is that you have fun in the game.

Actually no, is just convenient. It's the same thing as if you were pressing the two buttons realy fast in a controller this is kinda hard but on a mouse for example would be as simple as pressing one button
Quit the game long time ago but kept an eye on it since, it seems like every single trick the players discover to make the game a tiny bit more fun and enjoyable either gets tweaked or nerfed or flat out removed in the name of BALANCING, I'm not interested in playing a game that changes it's rules every 5 minutes
Unpopular opinion: They really should nerf this. And i mean destroying it, just like how they destroyed double items. It really favors fast weapons over slow ones, since you can´t double bind slow weap. with slow weap., but you can fast weap. with fast weap., or slow weap. with fast weap. Also the fact that double binding increases the dps to an absurd level, i never beated 5 bc so easily in my life, until i tried my first double bind (Double knifes/ bloodsword ) and melted everything. That's not supposed to be a thing. or at least that's what i think. They really should disable double binding, for the sake of difficulty.
but...why ? it's a fun mechanic and it's not like it's game breaking, if you want your game to be harder then don't do it also, you can get the same effect by pressing the two buttons really fast anyway, dual binding is just more efficient and convinient

Second thing, i don't win every single time, it's just an average win rate for a 5 cell player, excpet when using a double binding win, wich win rate skyrockets up to 95% at least. Wich is not a good thing, specially when the gameplay consist in pressing one single buttom for 50 min straight. Double bind is like using cheat engine. I't's cool so see the amount of combinations you can do and the synergies, but at one point it gets extremely easy and repetitive.

I had never heard about dual binding until you mentioned it in a video and I was able to dual bind snake fangs and ice shards to beat 2bc!

I always love this concept, I love dual binding weapons, it's lots of fun sometimes
So it's almost like when a weapon has an affix like "arrow" or "grenade" and you're making one weapon into an affix on the other. Really neat.

You have to use the Alternative Binding Profile
And Don’t forget that you can take two same weapons if one of them is gold.
E.g. two throwing knives.

You can play on mobile with a controller. Works with my xbox one. It is the pre Bad Seed version though.
