I've been hooked to your Dead Cells videos for days now. Really glad I found your channel, learned a fucktone of info. I've only recently started playing Dead Cells and I'm currently on 2BC so your videos are really helpful.
Excellent video and really high quality, this feels like a good step up from previous videos. I think the next patch is going to fix the scroll count in the new biomes according to the patch notes. You can go a bit further with these choices in that you can plan to optimise your scroll fragments in the late game stage. If it's possible to have it so you get exactly the right amount of scroll fragments by the time you get to Hand of the King you can possibly avoid a biome that would have been slightly more difficult but would have given you a useless extra scroll fragment. I think that's more specific to 5BC though.
6:45 imo Toxic sewers is also ok with this build, as explosion is burst damage, telluric shock is great for crowd control and door might be used in case of some rats or enemies out of ground
loving these videos dude, you’re really chill and always teaching me something new. i definitely need to put more thought into my pathing, at 3bc things like this are starting to matter a lot more
Hearing the Hades and Gungeon music broke my brain for a second haha. Great soundtracks all around! Also great video, time to learn how to get further in this game :)
Fun fact: hattoris katana actually completely removes your hitbox per swing, meaning enemies like spiky’s and even aoe attacks cannot actually hit you if you are swinging. First time met mama tick and no hit her by constantly swinging during all the phases. It does take a bit of luck but hattoris is honestly so broken since enemies also don’t notice your existence provided you are swinging upon getting within their line of sight.
This was a great video. Exactly what I needed for where I am skill wise. Thanks again for your great Dead Cells content, it has been shining above the rest of the stuff out there.

I've shared it with a buddy of mine who's also working their way up, so I'm hoping this will help them out. Thanks so much for making, and I have a good feeling this video will do pretty well!
It's so weird to me that you don't even mention enemy types that can snipe you through walls. Inquisitor, Blowgunner, Impaler, and Arbiter combined probably make up 80% of my deaths in dead cells.
Great guide! I'm new to this game, and I reached a place called "Lighthouse", with some annoying guys persuing me! The point is that I don't see that Lighthouse in your maps!
This is great., big fan of the editing, and i honestly agree with your guide, though i'm guilty for being careless to what levels i go. I did nail the early game quiz but that's honestly from the 2k+ runs i've done, so that's what I get to choose the most lol.
sooo... A couple things, promanade and ramparts are good for 2 reasons: explosive crossbow and speed. both are quicker and smaller biomes than most others and can be used to get a lot of cells via timed doors and explosive crossbow is one of the best ranged weapons in the game (not including paid dlc) also ramparts is needed to unlock custom mode and vine rune so if you want to reach toxic sewers and conjuctivus, you need promanade and ramparts
Tip for dealing with flying enemies if your not in a hurry and have the rune: just use homunculus. Most flying enemies will die before your head returns. This can let you effectively clear out any room of flying enemies that looks like it might get too dangerous.
This video is hilarious to me because the route I've been sticking to for trying to get the 4th BC (which I didn't realize came from the Giant until after I killed HotK on 4BC...). My route starts with the first two biomes and first boss you said are the worst 😅
the fatal falls biome is honestly going to be a better choice than before with the new legendaries rework of 3.0. Still I will (as probably many others) need to evaluate the worth of taking a late game legendary and risking a different build so late into the run. Its tbh rng dependent and scary to make such a gamble. also can't wait for a new biome check for the queen dlc.
How do you determine whether to go for Queen or Hand now? I feel like Shipwreck is a LOT easier than Castle, even though I’ve only gone through Shipwreck like twice. Queen might possibly be easier than Hand, but then there’s the additional level of the Lighthouse…
If you have at least 32 stats or more Servant or Queen should be an easy encounter but platforming fight I find the hardest fight than anything in this game especially at 5BC.
The quiz thing is a good idea, if you didn’t spend 10 seconds explaining it, put a long timer etc. Maybe just give an example and tell where you’d consider going instead of an interactive quiz. Good content tho. Thanks bruh
for your quiz section. i feel like knowing where you put your scrolls and bot just which one is the highest due to the color of your items is necessary for accurate participation from my perspective. i kinda just skipped ahead to ur answers because i didn’t think i had enough information to digest the questions thoroughly

I'd like to add on to your guide. The way I see it is that do I need damage or do I need healing? Damage route: Toxic sewers > Corrupted Prison > Ancient Sewers > Conjectivus > Graveyard > Cavern > Giant > High Peak > Boss Healing route: Promenade > Prison depths > Morass > Mama Tick > Graveyard > Forgotten Sepulchre > Giant > HOTK I personally like the second route more as it allows you to make mistakes and have fun without playing it too tight.
On 5BC I always use Assassin's Dagger + Phaser, I always choose the hardest biome except Cavern because of Ground Shakers who always end my run and also Distilery with too much traps/bombs
Great video. But what do you think of the idea of choosing the Concierge to try and go for the no hit door, since as you said he is the easiest boss in the game? Perhaps the rewards you'll get for that can make up for the poor loot he drops...
I've been playing the mobile version of the game. Is the "Morass of the banished" "Nest" "Undying Shores" "Fractured shrine" "Masuoleum" "Distillery" available on the mobile version?
