Also, there's one small flub in the video that I didn't catch until after I was well into the editing process. During the Shovel Knight outfit part I say the phrase "take that Shovel" when I meant to say "take *A* Shovel". You do not have to use the Shovel from the King Scepter lore room to get the Shovel Knight outfit. Sorry about that!

I’m not a perfectionist while playing games so I was sort of in the mindset of ‘if I happen upon the blueprint, nice, of if I don’t, tough luck’ , but your vid made me want to go back and collect these things :D Amazing vid as always!

Huh, so I just got incredibly lucky my first time through and got the Cocoon Blueprint by pure chance, since I didn't even know about the drapes with runes thing and thought it was just a "you can only open one door per run" thing!

Last Moonflower Key: My Forgotten Sepulcher generated differently from the one in the video, it spawned directly to the right of the exit to the Clock Room, basically you're looking for a long horizontal line on the map. Another Moonflower key also had a different generation, but the important thing is that the pattern (i.e. what type of "line" a hidden passage would be generated as) still holds for all Moonflower keys.
Yup! I have seen a bug where it drops without doing them in order so maybe that happened to you? Either way, it sounds like you saved yourself some of the hassle.

I've slowly been getting back into Dead Cells and this helped a lot, I love the style and pacing about the video and how much you put into it especially all the chapters that you can easily go to in need of that one specific item or blueprint. For the party shield in stilt village, you don’t actually need the spider rune, because you can make the jump over the first key door with an extra jump from an amulet or from a speed boost from killing enemies

I've been playing for a while now and didn't even know about the acceptance mutation. Getting it was...stressful to say the least. Kept getting lost in the Forgotten Sepulcher. I also got the Punishment shield by sheer accident when I first made it to the clock tower.
Acceptance is... definitely a side quest, hah. I feel like the real victory is completing it without forgetting the keys. As far as the Punishment blueprint goes, that's great when that happens! I figured out how that happens and am going to make a video about it soon.
This is very helpful, since for some reason the game decided to wipe my blueprints. I haven't played for 2 years and I come back to basically nothing but my progression upgrades. Sucks so much actually

You're right, but it's on my to-do list. I just finished up a Skills tier list which will be out later this week and then one of my next recording sessions will be a mutations tier list. Your comment got me thinking though, so I might make a basics mutations guide to release alongside it as a pair like I did with the shields video. At the bare minimum I will put out a tier list where I ramble on and on (and on) but I'll to see if a scripted mutations guide is in the cards. Thank you for the feedback!
I'm pretty sure it's still locked to 3BC+. You need to get to Graveyard after Ramparts and the only route for that is going through the 3BC Conjunct door. If you could fight Death or Mama Tick from Ramparts it would be any BC since that routes to Graveyard but that's not the case, unfortunately.

I do make a couple of jokes about the Door, but in all seriousness I use it on occasion either for Crowbar or if I find one that has good affixes for easy burning oil or toxic cloud. I'm going to make a traps tier list down the line and will give the Door its due. :)
2 days ago i was trying do to the bell puzzle but i tough it was from the highest to the lowest and while trying to make my path to them i accidentally got the key and i was a lil bit confused why i did it
I somehow ended up doing the Bell Tower puzzle completely on accident, I was simply making my way through the level fightitng mobs, and suddenly voila there's a key at my feet.

So THAT'S what the bells were about. By complete chance, i hit the bells in the correct order while going through clock tower even though i didn't even meant to. I was so confused when a key just dropped out of nowhere
I'm pretty sure there's a trigger that keeps the doors open after all of them are unlocked (like the ones in Promenade for Explosive Crossbow), so yes. They routed the biomes in that specific way to make it more challenging, too.

Mobile doesn't have Clean Cut or the update where you can change heads yet (it's 3.5, The End Is Near). I'm not sure when it will come out but hopefully soon... we have been waiting a LONG time! Another team works on the mobile version so it may not come out at the same time as PC/consoles.

I don't really know how I ended on your channel, but I still watch all your videos, because I just like the style of editing, the perfect mix of keeping it easy to understand but still packing all information densly enough, the calm voice and holy hell the music. I don't care about LoFi or white noise for working, but have you ever thought about publishing some of your music? I would play that stuff for hours!

Yeah! I've played it a few times over the years. I max completed the Lifeblood update (107% or whatever it was at the time) and played the game again after the Everyone's Here Update came out for Dead Cells a couple of years ago. I wish the legendary version of Pure Nail was Longnail so it would have a bigger hitbox.
I quit dead cells for around a month because i had some nasty exams, but i tried opening the game today and for some reason it permeantly crashed with 4 BC and 90% of blueprints I know who cares but I don't want to destroy my laptop cuz of anger.

So you are telling me that for the bell tower key was a specific order in which you had to hit the bells and I got that key trough dumb luck alone?!

for the parry shield at the jump 9:46 if you have an amulet that gives you another jump you can do it without the spider rune.

I'm so glad to hear this was helpful! I think the Spite blueprint gets missed because it's so easy to slam down through that area, right past it.

For cocoon I saw the doors my first time, just went through a random one and got the blueprint by accident
22:45 i picked a random door and it worked out to be the cocoon on my first try, so im asking myself.
Whats behind the wrong ones?
If you pick a wrong door it doesn't open, just like if you try to open a timed/kill door between levels without meeting the requirements.

Only some of them have blueprints (both 2:00, the 8:00 to Ossuary, 15:00 after Concierge).

You can jump into the lava and spawn next to the key in the spoiler instead of doing it
Nice! I somehow spawned in there next to the key after falling off the map (?) but whenever I hit the lava I'd get teleported back up a bit.
All the way to BC3 and I didn't know about the actual rose you drop smash then it gives you the third rose key smh

Yeah! I've played it a few times over the years. I max completed the Lifeblood update (107% or whatever it was at the time) and played the game again after the Everyone's Here Update came out for Dead Cells a couple of years ago. I wish the legendary version of Pure Nail was Longnail so it would have a bigger hitbox.

If the door is locked, you'll need to unlock a couple of outfits before you can go talk to him.

@@jayveemoreno734 Hmmm. Do you already have the scissors unlocked? That dialog triggers automatically when you get in there.
I quit dead cells for around a month because i had some nasty exams, but i tried opening the game today and for some reason it permeantly crashed with 4 BC and 90% of blueprints I know who cares but I don't want to destroy my laptop cuz of anger.

@@DisappointedGiant no im playing on normal mode with 4dlc instaled and when i finished the the game the last boss doesn't drop bc .
@@parsycola6101 Hmm! Are you able to interact with the tube at the beginning of the game? And are you on 0BC or higher?
@@DisappointedGiant no im it 0bc and i kill hand of king 4 times and hes not droping anything just blue cells and when i back it start the tube not work
@@parsycola6101 Not sure, then. The only times a BC doesn't drop is if an aspect is enabled.
