I've changed the 40 tooth rear sprocket to a supersprox stealth 43 tooth sprocket (RST210X43RED) a lot better response on the offroad hills, maybe a tip for other riders too.
😄. It's funny you wrote that now. I ordered 42 tooth, clicked on confirm order, and then your comment came in. This is some mind reading stuff you do. 🤣 But it's good to know that 42 helps. I hope i like it too. Thank you.
@@Mcdoktor Yes, I am happy with the new sprocket, I've changed the chain guide because the chain was touching the guide. I bought one from zeta, but you do not have to buy a new chain guide, you can simply turn the rubber piece upside down to have more room for the chain.
Great video ! I like the way you share the knowaleage and expiriance ! I have question regarding throtle exchange you made. I can see on the vide that you have a new throtle and ignition button. I also think to rplace it as stock parts feels chip and not reliable. Doeas it need also to change the cables or you did id without changing it ? What throtle you have ?
Hi. Thanks for your support. My throttle grip and cables are from 2022 yamah tenere 700. I made it to somehow fit the crf.The start button is actually a universal kill switch from dirtbikes. It says "ENGINE STOP" on it, but it's for starter. Original kill switch cables are cut and soldered together behind the head lamp. Horn, it's a horn. Hi beam, is hi beam and turning light switch is actually "stealth mode". To the right is all lights on and to the left it shut down all the light completely. So you can hide in the forest at night. 🤣
Great video! One question, why does the exhaust first bend down and then back? Why doesn't the exhaust pipe coming from the cilinder goes back immediate? On KTM's it is the same deal, why? Thank you!
The pipe needs some distance in order to lose some heat to the air. It can't be too close to frame, radiator, cables etc. In case of crf that's the way for a pipe to avoid all those elements. But I have seen pipes that go straight back. Most of yamahas. YZ450F for example.
For me the stock suspension works fine, I'm like 68kg and do not need fancy expensive suspension. And it all depends how and where you ride. I do mostly light enduro (90% off-road and 10%-try to avoid on road) and the stock suspension works for me.
Ssoooooooffffttttt!!! Nice and comfy on streets and flat offroad roads. If you are planning to go fast offroad, any type of offroad obstacles, or jumps, then you should start to think hard about upgrading. But if you want to do anything like above, then I think you are looking at the wrong bike in the first place. Crf300l it's farm, easy trail, forest, comut and everyday usable bike. To go hard offroad CRF450RL. Or any other bike that was designed for that, but someone put lights on it.
Great Vid. Keep it coming. Subbed.
Thank you very much. Coming soon.

thoughts on stock suspansion?

The only thing I can tell you about the 450 is that you do not need the clutch to do a wheely.
I like my 300 L, goes well with my XSR900...i'll spend 6 grand on a dual sport...10 grand? no 10 grand goes for bikes like XSR900's...
