I remember being a little girl explaining to my Mother "Mommy, these games are like books, and have such love music, and you get to work through them like the Choose Your Own Adventure novels!! Someday it'll be like playing a movie!!" This was on our first NES with me and my sister, God bless them both for putting up with me. One of the very few things where you can legitimately tell someone that it's a franchise for a sincere reason that isn't money, it really comes through the soul of it. Take care Dane sir, a pleasure
Harry Lloyd did such an amazing job as Ultima. my favorite dialog is the "this master will not tolerate disobediance" in the rift and the "i stand above you my rebirth complete ..." from the second to last final phase. I think his performance is underrated compared to other performance like Barnabas, Dion and of course Clive.
It's such a deliberately "alien" cadence, it's not until *spoilers* near the end of the game when he loses his temper in the final battle that he starts to sound like "us," up until all of that they did a great job making him come off as alien and beyond our understanding. His ridiculous introduction helped, too of course, but damn. Great work. Prophet of Truth in Halo 2 is the only one I can think of that's close to this for a "villain."
As always, fantastic to follow along with your journey. Somehow the fact that I played this game feels like a fever dream, but seeing it played grounds the memory a bit. e: one thing I always appreciated about how Clive's and Jill's relationship is depicted is that their movements are really natural and deeply romantic. Them touching their foreheads together before he departs hit me like a sledgehammer.
i said this on the other version of the video but i love this game and it means alot to me and thank you for the hard work editing this and sharing ur 16 journey with us frankie :D
Thanks for the compilation! I get it’s hard and algorithm makes it awful for stuff like this but it’s always fun to watch and the editing is snappy. Despite its issues 16 truly is a wonderful journey.
Glad I took the right time to watch this From the farewell to the end it's a river of tears for me Most evil ending possible towards Jill, it made me so depressed for her since she's the character I felt closest to She deserved better :c Amazing game, I have no more words Really wish it had a happy ending
Small detail I always love to re-watch is how tender and close to tears Clive'a face looks right before talking to Jill. At the farewell I straight up ugly cried
The ending leaves me so torn. You want everything to be perfect and happy for those characters that suffered so much. Jill especially, being left to grieve after everything that happened is heartbreaking. But then there's the huge positives. The world recovers, it carries on with magic being a thing of fantasy. Everything they strove for was a success, the blight is gone and people are free and happy. In the end, though people go, their legacies carry on, and there could be no better legacy for Cid, Clive and the rest of them.
Yoshi P. did say it's an open ending, so whatever your take on the ending is up to you. For me I think the intention was that Clive is alive (he is the narrator after all and reads it like a book)
Everyone always asks why Jill takes so long to say I love you back, and it’s because (as Byron pointed out earlier) Clive is a terrible liar. So when he says “I’ll be back, I promise.” she knows he’s lying and it takes her a second to compose herself 😢
now whens the DLC release? xD they were actually a really welcome addition to the game! this one really aged well in my book.. once I seen the deeper potential in the battle system, but graphically is absolutely a 10/10. Makes me super excited to see what they'll do with 17 and beyond O_o
My only issue with this game is the lack of replay value. I usually love playing FF games multiple times, but not this one. Not only is the combat easy and tedious, but experiencing the story was traumatic. Doing it again would be like, self inflicted trauma. lol I don't know if I could.
While i was shocked and heartbroken by the ending, I do admit that Clive's arc was pretty much over and him dying is honesty a reasonable ending. And to be honest, Clive was WAY to overpowered to be left alive. And he pretty much used up ALL of his power as Clive himself said.
sorry to post this video AGAIN lol I uploaded the wrong version so THIS is the right one haha! Thank you for baring with me ✨
I was in the middle of watching it when you pulled the other one down 😅
@@Mister_kayy Yeah me too. I was about half way through!
Tangled but depression 😮😅
Do you plan on doing the dlc?
xD
This game was an experience. Final Fantasy is the greatest series of games to experience. Thank you for sharing, Frankie!

No way you got Ben to be the narrator for this video. That is so cool
Ben. Fucking. Loves. His. Job.
Ben is one of my Favorite VAs because he absolutely loves the series he's a part of loves doing shit like this for the fans.
I may be thinking of someone else on YT, but I think Ben and Frankie are friends IRL.

yes the same Harry Lloyd who played Viserys Targaryen in Game of Thrones
Starting to see why he was chosen as the voice of Viktor in Arcane
@@leifsegelnHe was also Z in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

holy hell your final blow to ultima being shiva was biblical. loved your playthrough!
F that song... the moment it goes "A sky of scattered tears" i immediately cry even though i've seen this scene a number of times already
So much about this game I loved
i said this on the other version of the video but i love this game and it means alot to me and thank you for the hard work editing this and sharing ur 16 journey with us frankie :D
All these uploads are fantastic. Your editor is goated
i just recently finished this myself , this was a really good game ! and the writing was superb in my opinion . cant wait to see Ben in expedition 33
I literally finished my playthrough yesterday, wasn't theending i wanted but the one i expected. Fantastic game none the less!
YIPPEE let's go! Here it is (again)
Isn't title misleading? Shouldn't it be "Final Fantasy 16 finished Frankie Lollia"? :)
Lol

Let's gooooo! Really looking forward to this!! 😁
Is it Ben Starr's voice at the beginning of the video ?
Yes it was!
As a brother the finale always hits💯
It really does man
I literally cry every time. Plus, one of my younger brother’s names is Joshua.
'Bout to watch this whole thing again without any issues.
I love this game so much. The voice actors nailed the hell out of their lines, and it really sold the whole experience.
Like this if you cried at FF16 like you did after a bad break up. I was a mess. Thank you devs for reminding us that we're humans with emotions.
Glad I took the right time to watch this

I sure hope so
Wonderful cover at the end frankie!
Frankie looks like she’s out for vengeance battling Ultima. This time, it’s personal.

I desperately wish I could experience all the final fantasy games for the first time again. I loved this game so much
Thank you for letting me relive this journey again
Will have to watch this soon. I just got to Clive becoming the 2nd Cid. Easily one of my new favorite games in the series.
Your edits are the best! any possible FF16 DLC playthoughs in the future? thanks ! your the best
love the rendition of the song at the end - gives it an anime feel
I'm just gonna watch the entire thing again cuz why not.
Here comes the crying (again!) 😭
No place I’d rather be, when it comes to Final Fantasy. Thank you Frankie, for being my home, for Final Fantasy 🫡❤️
I literally just finished part 4 this is so hype
Gongaga! 👍
Now with added post credits huzzah!
Are the DLCs comming to the channel to someday ?
Loved your reactions. This should had been GOTY.
where i can listen this final cover??!
🤚🏻😮🖐🏻"Absolute Cinema"
The song cover at the end is so good. Full version??
You know the boss is done for when Frankie starts crying through the fight.
Congratz on finishing the game!
Nice Dodge 😊 26:55
Trauma Fantasy 16 will go down as one of the best in the series

Am I going mad...or did I watch this video the other day? I definitely watched this before!
I thought the exact same thing Bro! I have watched it for sure like 2-3 days before
It is. There was apparently an issue with the original upload tho, so she took it down and put this up instead
Ahhhh shiiii here we go again
damn i really need your video on ff7 rebirth now
This game KILLED me. I was legitimately distraught for over a week.
A very different Final Fantasy game, but it was made with so much love, dude. If you love a great story, this one will stick with you.
✋What's the story with the singing at the end?
although unlikely any time soon yet again, I hope DMCA gets reworked someday

i really liked your ending ;_;
Hopefully you played the DLC's to see Omega and Leviathan
Leave a like so she plays Until Then
😊😊😊😊
man they really made the fuck out of this game
The moment you realise that not ALL of sidequests are trash.
;)
Am I going crazy or have I seen this video already
Torgal is best BOI
This game is pain
What’s the timeline on this playthrough? I thought she dropped the game
This game emotionally destroyed everyone lol

really didnt like this game overall, but i love watching people's reactions to the (few and far between) good parts
Ok now take this video down, post a new version with final thoughts at the end 😏
