I had no clue who Tron even was when I first played KH2, but even still, his story and character arc throughout Space Paranoids really struck a chord with me.

Nomura doesn't need to fix anything.
Tron is fine and dandy at Hollow Bastion.
Sora just wanted to save that alternate Tron because he's that much of a good boy.
@@DarkOverlord96 What exactly do you think we’re talking about? Because we mean Nomura needs to fix the cutscene to make it more obvious what Sora’s doing when he copies and transfers his KH2 memories.
For the record, Minnie’s light spell, Faith, is actually the same spell Roxas casts when he uses the Roxas Beam.
It’s available as a command for Ven in BBS and Sora in this game and it’s basically a faster Salvation that uses the Magic stat instead of Strength.
On a related note, Mickey and Minnie's Pearl spell from Kingdom Hearts II is Holy, just with the name directly translated from Japanese rather than changed to the English name.

Even though I know how to read sheet music, I totally skipped over that myself, so I'm both impressed that she read it and that SE actually added in that detail.
@@kungfuvoodoo9889 I could never comprehend how to read and sound out the song in my head. Do you just remember what each note sounds like, or is it more about the context each note is in based on how far the previous and next notes are?
Everyone has been asking for a Riku game and this is probably as close as we will get. At least for now.
DDD should have just been about Riku.

after playing KH3 the scene with riku and the guardian makes so much sense
I believe having Sora forget his self-taught skills to learn the "proper" keyblade way was a mistake, both in-universe and out.
That being said, one thing this game did right was Sora's reaction to failing the test, or rather to Riku passing it. Sora was never interested in the mark, he took the test cause Riku was still doubting himself. You could argue he was wrong in saying they would both pass with flying colors, but considering the above I think his only goal was for Riku to get the validation he needed.
It was a really flimsy excuse to have Sora start at level 1, considering Yen Sid never actually teaches them anything.
@@devonm042690 So what I had in mind when I said this was a theory I've come across: that keyblades were made to unlock the user's combat potential hence why anyone who uses one becomes powerful (ex: Kairi) but that is a double-edged sword since No Keyblade = No Access to said potential.
Sora used his keyblade "wrong" throughout the first two games, but that had the added benefit of his skills and spells being his own. During the No Keyblade segment in Hollow Bastion (KH1) he couldn't hit the heartless as hard as usual but his sword and magic skills were otherwise untouched. He lost his skills from external factors, not keyblade deprivation. (same applied to Roxas during the "That's a Stick" mission more or less)
The flashbacks being edited in is pure genius. Kudos
The "It's Ansem" one was so good. Frankie's on top of it.

@@Arc115YT Honestly, it's pretty cool that Square went the extra mile, and actually put Dearly Beloved's sheet music there. I could easily have seen them putting any old placeholder there to save time.
Just so it is clear for everyone who doesn't know, the answers you need to give as Riku to get the secret ending are mistranslated. What it is supposed to be is Riku confronting, realizing and accepting his steadfast devotion to Sora which he has been doing so far either subconsciously or out of regrets.

"What's most precious to you?
My precious best friend"
"What do you wish?
To recover what's most precious to me"
Aka Sora.
This coincides with the also mistranslated motto of "protect the things that matter". In this game it is meant to evolve from "protect things that are important" to "protect things that are precious" and after Riku answers these questions, the motto evolves in kh3 to be "protect my precious person" aka Sora. All of this even confirmed by the Ultimania too

DDD had the BEST opening movie of the series while BBS had the BEST secret movie
As someone who absolutely adores TWEWY, seeing the cast show up here in Traverse Town through videos when DDD first came out was such a surreal experience. I’m so glad square hasn’t entirely forgotten the series and it’s characters thanks to both their inclusion here and NEO TWEWY being real
okay but TWEWY and NEO TWEWY have some of the best soundtracks in an RPG. like it's not a sweeping orchestral vibe but just like mid 2000's punk rock and it's such a vibe. Especially NEO TWEWY just is a bop and a vibe.
Hell yeah, so happy to see this. I don't frequent Twitch as much as I used to, so VODs are my best way to get this kind of content. Glad you're chipping away at KH still. I'll *HEAVILY* suggest watching a synopsis or something of Union X, as it will make a few things hit SO much harder when you get to KH3.
Damo279 got a bunch of people together to fully voice the story of Union X. c; If you haven't seen it, i'd highly recommend it. Even if you're familiar with the story. It's very well done.
Agreed. Luckily there is a fan dub of it that does a pretty good job of getting all the necessary parts of Union X all streamlined together.

I would love a playthrough of TWEWY since its an amazing game.
The Switch version controls well, and if you wanna capture the fun of Multitasking in the original (since you play 2 screens with Stylus and Dpad) you can use 2 Joycons and do Co-Op by yourself.
*It sounds hard but i did it and it felt awesome*

I know it's been a month but I had to mention: the Japanese version of the three questions Riku gets, or more specifically the Japanese version of the right answers to those questions, makes his feeling for Sora WAAAAAAAAY more obvious. But don't take my word for it, look it up
PS: Also, the keychain of the Gayblade (when combined as one) is a paopu fruit

If there’s one thing Square Enix games are good at, it’s toying with your emotions in ways thought impossible.
You should give The Bouncer a go sometime! It’s an old Square Enix game released on PS2 with the same kind of intricate storytelling found in Kingdom Hearts. I think you’d find a lot to appreciate about that game.
Fun fact: The Bouncer is where Pence’s outfit comes from.

Fun fact: considering the position of riku and Sora on the cover, some persons did a gay cover edit simple by reversing sora's position

I mean, she's able to cut right through Xemnas' guard one time with apparently little effort. I think that's actually what leads him to decide to take her out of the picture.

Despite Young Xehanort being an annoying Villain Sue and the game spending so much time crapping on Sora (him getting cheated out of being a Keyblade Master through no fault of his own was BS), this is probably my favorite KH. It just has a vibe to it that no other KH has.
Not to mention the absolutely flimsy excuse for why Sora and Riku start at Level 1. Forget what they know and learn the 'proper' way? Yen Sid never teaches them anything. He just lectures them for hours on vague stuff about Xehanort and the X-Blade and then sends them on their way.

I was the one asking in chat about the Codecs and Resolution and Stuff.
You are right, you have rendered your Videos in 1440p which is the reason why your (1080p) Videos use the superior VP9 codec instead of the inferior AVC/H.264.
However, the reason I asked was because usually uploading at 2560x1440p offers the Option to select 1440p in the media Player.
I can only guess why it cant be selected in your case but at least VP9 is used 😄

The amount of tears this series has given me is more than any amount of therapy could ever bring me. Every single game has given me the ability to tune in with my emotions despite every thing I've been through--without this series I might not have learned how to deal with emotion and it would've ended less-than-optimal for me. I am happy that this was my childhood.
