I am definitely late to the party, but can I just say, thank you so much. As a child who hated math, and as a girl who was always told, 'You can't do math', I grew up hating anything with numbers. As an adult, I'm relearning everything in my free time. I often get anxious with 'higher' order math, and these videos have been SUCH a sigh of relief and have (almost) made me cry with math: Only this time, for a good reason, because I feel like the childhood girl inside me is finally not afraid of numbers! This literally saved me from having a literal break down in the middle of class cause it’s our 3rd day working on slope and I still didn’t get it and I was to scared to ask my teacher. also I’m in a 7th grade ap class so I’m used to getting math quickly (but I’m also dyslexic)

i have a question sir,what if both rise and run is negative?ex.-15/-11 is this the final answer or i have to move the negative sign beside the fraction bar?
A negative divided by a negative make a positive. So the answer in your example would be 15/11

How would I find the steepest slope between equations and graphs?
Or How would I know which is is the steepest slope when I’m doing it between the equations or graphs?
The higher the number the slope, the steeper the line. Here's a video on finding slope from an equation.

y2 - y1
X2 - X1 ???????
It will work either way as long as you pick one point to be (x1, y1) and the other point to be (x2, y2). Slope is consistent so as long as you pick any two points on a line, it will work out. If you do make point 1 (x1,y1) to the right of point 2 (x2, y2) you might end up with a bunch of negative numbers, but if you resolve them correctly, you'll always get the correct answer no matter what points you choose on a line.

Follow the line from left to right. If it is going up, positive, if it is going down, negative slope

Because some people get confused by having the letters in the equation. If it makes sense for you, definitely use it.
