  • Understanding the slope intercept form is essential to do well in algebra. In this video I review the main ideas you need to know about the slope intercept form, y=mx +b. Specifically, I will teach you what the slope intercept form is and why it’s important in graphing linear equations.     My teacher writes sooo fast, talks so fast, and gives us 10 minutes for a question on a topic we just learned. He expects us to already know about it as if all of us went home for the summer and just obsessively studied what we had learned last year. This helped so much. Thank you:)

    48-year-old English professor here, today I finally learned that math does not have to be as complicated as I believed. In Middle School, I gave up on math. Thank you for this video. I can help now my own children. I cried for over a week before finding this video. Thank you is not strong enough.

    Thank you. You did make a slight mistake at the end. The slope was -2/3, which you said...but wrote -3/2. Helpful video.

      @@charlotte6154 It's not that the teachers don't know, they just teach way too fast and erase the board before we have time to write everything down or process the information. He would already be on another topic or formula before giving us time to understand the previous formula. Public high school teachers don't care about shit, only their paychecks.

    This is the best instruction on Slope Intercept I've seen yet. Not even my COLLEGE class can explain it this well. I've been drowning in equations with very little to no explanation.

    Hi, I just want to say thank you. I am an older person (almost 60 yrs) and I want to learn algebra. This has not been an easy journey for me. The explanation you provide for slope intercept form is (for me) the easiest to comprehend. I have so much more to learn and this (your instruction) is a great tool.     Im here because I need to pass math to receive my GED diploma I took math 3x already and its my last test and I believe im not passing do to fractions and slope intercept your the first teacher who truly breaks it down for the individual to understand because I like to know what every sinlge thing means in an equation.     Great material, please consider doing more videos explaining the purpose and nuances of the mathematical background you know? Like why one form of equation is ok bit another isn't, or why one small portion of an equation here is actually part of a bigger one in physics later, you know?
