How to find the slope between two points

- 👉 Learn how to find the slope between two points. The slope of a line is the steepness of the line. The horizontal line has a zero slope while the vertical line has an undefined slope. To determine the slope of a line passing through two points, we need to know the coordinates of 2 points on the line. Then the slope of the line is given by the quotient of the difference between the y-coordinates and the difference between the x-coordinates. i.e. slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1).

My teacher teaches very quickly. He explains the whole lesson in around 10 minutes, without really explaining much. He simply tells us to try some problems and then throws a worksheet at our tired faces. So this is really a huge help. Thank you.

I teach my math class since the teacher just talks and doesn't explain anything. So after class, I video chat with everyone and share my screen to show them what we learned and make sure they see what I'm doing and why it makes sense. Sometimes I don't know how to word things correctly so this really helped. My class really understood. Thanks for helping me teach everyone. If only the teacher knew how to teach XD.

The answer is -3 but can u say the steps to do as IDK and if your wondering how I know the answer I guessed and got it correct but IDK the formula on what to do when u have 3 numbers so yeah.

I have a question when you did -8-4 how did it equal -12 because 8 + 4=12 so wouldn't it be addition with -8 and 5

think of negatives as owing money. You owe me 8 dollars and the owe(subtract) another 4. You now owe me 12 written as -12
