- 👉 Learn how to write the equation of a line given two points on the line. The equation of a line is such that its highest exponent on its variable(s) is 1. (i.e. there are no exponents on its variable(s)). There are various forms which we can write the equation of a line: the point-slope form, the slope-intercept form, the standard form, etc.
The equation of a line given two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) through which the line passes is given by, ((y - y1)/(x - x1)) / ((y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)).

I actually got 2/1 because four goes into four once and four goes into 8 twice. I did not think of it as 2 but it is 2. My foundations of math is very screwed up. I do not know my multiplication tables by heart. I know the 1x#, 2x#, I kinda know my 3's but I doubt myself, 5x#, 9X# (I use the finger trick) I'm taking college algebra and I'm dying. :(

I'm 24 and I'm thinking about going back to school. I dropped out of junior college because of unstable housing environment and now my 17 year old brother who is in highschool needs help with his algebra 1 homework. I remember a tiny bit from highschool. Now I feel like this teacher explains alot of different things better. For example he writes down his preferred method and steps how to get there before he jumps into the examples, which I can appreciate.
