I love this recipe. What you could also try for any type of Asian noodle soup is making this mixture into little balls and dropping them in towards the end of the cooking time. Be fantastic in ramen, pho, soba, etc...

My 7 year old niece has loved shrimp in all forms for a couple of years. She requested shrimp for her sixth year birthday dinner, and has been known to prepare and eat shrimp as a snack, and on at least one occasion for breakfast. I will have to show this video to my sister.

She hates any kind of sauce, though, including ketchup and butter, which is a sauce as far as she is concerned. This is compared to her sister, one year older, who only wants to eat noodles.

Nice dish. I make something very similar, although I don’t pre-chop all of the ingredients. I just put everything into the food processer and blitz to the desired consistency. Optionally, you can also form them into cakes and drudge them in breadcrumbs. She mentioned it, and it is important - don’t overcook them.

I think I went just a little over board but I would like your thoughts. Thanks for adding something new to my dinner table. PS. I used one table spoon of Oldbay and I think a 1/2 or 3/4 of a tablespoon should work.

I've tried crab cakes before and I really didn't liked them. I thought they're too smooshy or the flavors weren't right. But I do love shrimp and the green paper seems to be a good idea because I don't like a sweet taste on my food either. So I would definitely try this version.
