Just a heads up to anyone watching this video. I did a "Power Cleaning" and it worked after doing about 7 or 8 normal cleanings. Fair warning....Power clean does use about a quarter to a third of your black ink.
Thanks so much. I've been struggling with this for hours, checking , rechecking, cleaning, re checking, but the firmware one was something I didn't try!
I have an issue that the the black is printing uneven horizontal(from the direction the page comes out) banding evenly spaced but variation of light and dark blacks. All tanks are new ink cartridge's. I ran a deep clean on the machine and a nozzle check as well. Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance.
thks for the tips, question, after reset factory, the best is to download directly the last firmware update or test with the first version. normaly the machine don't keep the firmare in memory if we made a hard reset. thks!
@@lindagracethorne8606 Did you ever fix this? My colors are fine but black barely even shows up. I do a power clean and gets halfway through a page before becoming really faint again.
@@lindagracethorne8606 I fixed it!. It seems like some air got into the vacuum chamber which draws ink into the print head. I was able to use a syringe to prime the damper as shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/JT0aG-_pYes/видео.html
I am going crazy. Mine is printing OK, but my blacks are printing as a dark green-- like the printer is trying to make black from the colored inks. Black looks fine on a nozzle check but it won't utilize black ink to print black.
Followed all the steps but Magenta not printing at all. Is there something I can do besides taking apart unit and attempting to clean the Magenta print head?
I have epson te-2760. My question is when I print photos it has to much red and I’ve tried by cleaning the head and vertical and horizontal but still the same
On the little screen under “maintenance” there is an option for cleaning the head. Select it, it’ll ask you to confirm the cleaning of the printer heads, click “ok” and it takes a few minutes.

The hero we needed haha. Thank you
subscribing because I needed this energy while fixing this monster of a printer
Did all. Nothing worked. Only black is broken. What to do now
Return it

Thank you, Who knew cleaning a nozzle was a thing and that the printer did it on its own. Worked for me and now I can print. Thank you.

This was SUPER helpful!! Step 7 (Cleaning) was the step that worked for me! Thanks a bunch!

Perfect problem fixed with power cleaning back print fixed thank you kindly
I have a Et-3710. Cleaned the heads and the black started showing up. Cleaned again and good to go!
Thank you! It worked!
It was really helpful, thank you.
Straight to the point and helpful. Thank you so much!
What if you have to clean the nozzles 3x every time you print something in order for the black to unclog? My ink levels are all about 80%
I’ve done all these steps and still can’t print any black.

@@matthewjohnson3656 nope. I took it to a repair shop and they said itd be more expensive to fix than just buying a new printer
@@lindagracethorne8606 thanks for responding

What worked for me was 1-removing the jammed paper. 2-fill all ink to the top line 3- reset all the ink levels.
He says reset to factory settings and doesn't say how.
It’s in the maintenance menu.
Has to be one of the lamest DIY b by ideas I’ve seen in yrs. It’s video is for people that can’t read!
Thank you! very helpful!
How do you clean the nozzles though?
On the printer, scroll over (use right or left arrows) to "Maintenance", then select "Print Head Cleaning".

Hasn't worked for me so far. 😭 Currently reconnecting with the internet after going back to default settings to see if I can do a factory reset. 🤞🏻
If it’s sublimation ink you aren’t suppose to update firmware right
You did not mentioned how to go to the screen to clean nozzle.
I have epson te-2760. My question is when I print photos it has to much red and I’ve tried by cleaning the head and vertical and horizontal but still the same
You need to lookup settings for the printer. When its too red the colors are off on the settings
Thank you!!
I did everything, nozzle checks, head cleaning, factory reset, troubleshoot with geek squad, still not printing black
You give ideas but do not show how to do any of those . Also number one unplug what if it’s not plugged in and you are running solely on wifi . Thanks
Unplug the power cable, not the ethernet cable
Mine doesn’t print anything how do I fix that
All 6 doesn’t solve the problem, not an easy fix its just a bad Printer brand.
Didn't even get to print one page successfully. Shouldn't be having this issue right away
You said the same thing ten times about an issue with black ink that’s the obvious
Not helpful at all. Spoke too fast and doesn’t actually ever tell you how to do any of the thing he advises.
So how the hell do you actually clean the heads??????????????????????????????????????????????????
