Great comparison and analysis! Great job giving examples for other uses of the tools!

I agree with a lot of your points. I do carry a Skeletool in my pocket by itself a lot. I find that my most common need is a knife, then screwdriver, the pliers last. I think the combination bit would be better as you said. However I think in a drawer or pack a larger took makes more sense because it will have more tools without the penalty of weight. I do occasionally carry around a Charge but I decided that around my house the smaller and lighter Skeletool was more efficient. I also have a Juice that is smaller than the Skeletool but not really any lighter. It also has scissors but smaller knife blade. If I'm going to use a knife the Skeletool is about the minimum knife I'm willing to use. I tend to prefer carrying the Skeletool even though I'm usually also carrying a separate folding knife. At least around my house if I need the additional tools that the Charge contains I have those tools fairly close by. Outside of my house I'll sometimes tend to carry the Charge more.
