I really enjoyed the world building and dialogue in the Alpha issue with its glorious Chromium cover and bright computer colouring. The Roger Cruz art was very, very good as well. The page where Havok uses his powers was the first time I had seen the blurred effect being used, by the digital colourist or digital separations.
This was my first summer long storyline I got everything for when I was a kid. Great job on bringing back the feels I felt with these issues. Can’t wait for part 2.
I love this series. Ice Man and Sunspot are such a cool action figure duo with the translucent plastic. I've got the AOA Apocalypse (and 2 others) and a few others. Wish we could get updates on some that aren't $100 Mafex. Hard to justify it, but I really want the new AOA Weapon X.
Love all the aoa comics especially the 2 part X universe comic where you get to find out what happend to Thor,Ben grim and sue, daredevil, ironman etc vs mikhail who looks awesome in this
Still one of my favorite storylines. Back in the day i collected most of the back issues. Haven't really read a lot of the newer stuff the release since though.
Why did I hear the original resident evil sound track playing real low for the Generation Next part of the video? Played that game so much when it first came out I’d recognize it anywhere.
I’m a huge Colossus fan so I would love to see his figure from this not as the BAF. I couldn’t find the whole line so I didn’t get any of them, and he’s not cheap on eBay.
Yeah brother i wish they'd put out more age of apocalypse ide like to have mystice nightcrawler havoc and iam sure if I think about it there's a few more like maybe storm
Interesting you say marvel legends may be done with AoA when Mafex is coming out with AoA cyclops and Wolverine. Hopefully Hasbro will give them a 2nd chance.
This series is a kind of like the farewell to the x-men I loved from Chris Claremont and I don't love some of the new character designs. Although some I love like Cyclops.
Generation Next. The Generation X title was my favourite XTitle at that time, but the AoA title most disappointed me because i disliked all the characters and the storytelling was difficult to follow. The Chris Bachalo art was grotesque with muddy colouring in my AoA omnibus.
" I am the rocks of the eternal shore, crash against me and be BROKEN!" 💥💥💥
Nice job. I remember reading this series as much as I could afford at the time. Especially when joe mad did the books😂❤
The fantastic Joe Mad art and the characterisation of Morph in Astonishing XMen made this one of my favourite AoA titles.
Wow! What an insane undertaking - well done - absolutely epic, can't wait until part two!!!
Thank you brother!
The way you tell the story so natural and enjoyable is what makes the video so awesome!! Great work!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The page where Havok uses his powers was the first time I had seen the blurred effect being used, by the digital colourist or digital separations.
Yeah that was a perfect way to kick off the event
The complex relationship between the Summers brothers, along with the exceptional Steve Epting art, made Factor X the best of the AoA titles.
Yeah Factor X really surprised me in the re-read
This was my first summer long storyline I got everything for when I was a kid. Great job on bringing back the feels I felt with these issues. Can’t wait for part 2.
I liked the Adam Kubert Weapon X art, and, the high action stakes of this title. My 3rd favourite AoA title, after Factur X and Astonishing XMen.
Just gotta love the 80s and 90s. What a fun time in human history
90’s were the pinnacle!
Best AOA video on RUclips. Hands down. I’d love to be able to tell a story like you.
Thank you so much! Part 2 is in the works!
Helluva opening…subscribed immediately.
Hey thanks man. Welcome to the party pal!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS WOOOOOO
This was great! Can't wait for part 2
Great work Dave 👍.
I think this might be my favorite video you’ve produced. Really hope this gets finished. ✅
Thanks so much man. I promise it’s definitely getting finished!
AOA was the absolute pinnacle of X-Men, and some of the finest comics Marvel ever published.
Thanks Dave! This is my favorite x-men storyline. I totally enjoyed your video and look forward to the next one! Great job!
Xman. Another middling AoA title. Not bad Steve Skroce art.
Amazing XMen. I never liked Fabian Nicieza's unnatural dialogue but iliked Andy Kuberts art. One of the mid-quality AoA titles.
thank you Dave!! now ready for part 2 just recently released.
Glad you liked it! You know I love Age of Apocalypse!
I love some of those very 90s designs. Love rogues look.
Great job brother!
These are the best videos Dave, thanks for keeping them up!
wow!!! definitely will be waiting for the next part...😍
I read the AOE Storyline when I was 15 and what shall I say. This version of the X-Men is my version of the X-Men.
That was great! Nicely done!
Pure art. Hope hasbro will see this video and start making aoa wave 3 lol
👍🤘That was Xcelent 👍🤘
Thanks for this
you're the best, dave
"Making kids cry, brah!" 😂 have I come across an OSW quote in the wild???
I’ve been waiting for this one for years.
Awesome work!!!!! Great job!!!! Loved it!!!
I really enjoyed this! Also loved your Gambit impression!
What an awesome thing to wake up to thank you
These are great. Would like to see more in the future!

Saw the thumbnail and the title and my jaw dropped!!
This was great I appreciate you
Thank you so much man!
Awesome! Well done.
Looking forward to the sequel, AoA is my favorite storyline
Best Gambit impression.
Yay
Epic!❤
Great Gambit impersonation
awesome
When are we getting part two? I really enjoyed this
Is almost finished!
Please part 2!!
It’s in the works!
Hope you had a good day
I did thank you!
We need an aoa nightcrawler so bad
We need so many AOA figures!
Also Blink is best girl

Part 2 now plz
Am I the only one whose first introduction to the AoA universe was in Rick Remender’s Uncanny X-Force? Which is a fantastic run, by the way.
I loved that story arc!
Yeah brother i wish they'd put out more age of apocalypse ide like to have mystice nightcrawler havoc and iam sure if I think about it there's a few more like maybe storm
Maybe one day!
Max Eisenhardt

I sincerely hope they do!
This series is a kind of like the farewell to the x-men I loved from Chris Claremont and I don't love some of the new character designs. Although some I love like Cyclops.
I feel for me personally the franchise has never reached these heights again.
Is there a graphic novel of the whole age of apocalypse story
I think it’s available in a couple of volumes
Generation Next. The Generation X title was my favourite XTitle at that time, but the AoA title most disappointed me because i disliked all the characters and the storytelling was difficult to follow. The Chris Bachalo art was grotesque with muddy colouring in my AoA omnibus.
Does this mean you're finishing the series even though you deleted parts?
Yes!
Gambit & the Externals had forced Fabian Nicieza dialogue and average looking Tony Daniel art. Another lesser AoA title.
XCalibre was one of the lesser titles. I disliked the Ken Lashley art and the dialogue and characterisation by Warren Ellis was poor.
So you think you're better than me? Having a new microphone standing up looking all tall & HANsome . LOL
That’s not for me to say. Only my countless legions of fans and admirers! :)
Why this dude remind me of m dot R lol
Lol that’s definitely not a comparison I’ve ever had before! :)
So Rogue gives birth to a child that she cant physically touch? Doesnt make any sense
Had the guy in the film skipped kissing her and went straight for the insides, he might have survived.
Who is this goofy guy
