If you want to swim a faster butterfly you need to focus on three things: 1. Push your underwater 2. Keep your elbow high and get it high fast 3. Don’t do one big kick and 1 small kick, keep your kick even up and down and first and second kick.

A good swimmer should swim long distance butterfly else the stroke should count inefficient even useless in open water. What would you recommend for long distance butterfly?
